I grew up with a huge family, my mother was a Foster care provider, my dad was a Chief Fireman, I am the youngest of 8children, I grew up watching my mom take care of handicapped children my entire life, I always loved seeing how happy it made her to be able to help someone, even if it were just by giving that child love, I've grown to follow her footsteps and I just love being able to help someone if I can, even if can't make them better health wise, I can help them feel better emotionally, everyone deserves the BEST CARE POSSIBLE, that's why I love doing this job! I'm experienced in all aspects of Nursing, I've done pretty much everything expected, I am Certified in Nursing, I'm in school for Phlebotomy, I worked 15yrs in Dementia Care, as well as Alzheimers. I'm very fun to be around and love the new experiences with each client.

I've been in the health care industry for 6 years, I started out as a CNA working in a nursing home. I hated the site of seeing so many left behind and forgotten about. Many were bored and even stated that they would rather die than be there. Being new this devastated me. My goal everyday was to make them feel loved and to give them something to look forward to, help them smile laugh and have fun and change their outlook on life. I like home care because you really get to know your client on a one on one basis, you become that joy a lot of times and their best friend while helping them personally. I adore my clients God sent me to do home care.

I could tell I am hardworking, responsible and knowledgeable of things that I do as a caregiver. It's my passion to take care of both well and ill individual. The interaction between me and the patient, learning what needs to be done to make them ok. That I am a Registered Nurse in my own country and Certified Nursing Assistant here in the USA. I'm also a Registered Teacher in State of Illinois.

I became a caregiver simply because its what is in my heart. I have a passion for helping those who cannot help theirself. If I can put a smile on my residents face or make them laugh, it puts such happiness in my heart. I also became caregiver cause I know all to well how it is to lose loved ones. I know that life isnt remembered by the valuables but about the kind of person you are and that all that is remembered in the end is how you loved and what kind of person you were. I love being a caregiver cause not only am I there for them but without knowing it they are there for me in return. I listen and learn from them. To hear a resident say great things about the care I give is a great feeling but what I love most is a simple Thank you. It assures me that im appreciates and my hard work isnt taken for granted. I love the one on one time that I get to spend with a resident, it also allows me to understand where they are coming from and what their level of need is, due to not all needs being met are physical. The personal achievements that I am proud of are raising money for kids suffering with cancer and becoming a certified nursing assistant. I am a caring person with a lot of understanding and empathy. I really enjoy seeing people get better. I have watched people bounce back from being very ill and near passing. I also know that, that is not always the case. I've worked in Health care for over 15 years. Started in nursing homes at the age of 16. Have worked as a live in caregiver for persons with disabilities , also worked in hospitals and have been doing private duty for the past 4 years. I love what i do and really enjoy helping people and making them smile. I have all updated requirements and personal references including personal liability insurance.
