Hi! I'm Sierra! I'm 23, a single mom of 3 under the age of 5. My mom and stepmom both are RN's, I've had a passion for the healthcare field since I was in middle school. After graduating I moved to South Carolina where I attended my CNA classes then later moved home and decided to look into home healthcare! I believe being someone's caregiver is being their person to lean on, I've had quite a few clients I've loved dearly. I truly believe they grow to you and become your family, I'm a Christian and I live my day to day life believing I'm based to help someone, to be the change the world needs. Not everyone has a great support system nor a huge family, I've also been referred to as a "bonus grandchild" once and that stuck with me. Being able to help someone who really needs the help is an achievement. As my kids grow older I plan to go back to school and further into the medical industry, but between facility or home based I personally prefer home based. I'm a huge home body myself and if I were older needing help, I'd hope to at least manage to have it the sake of my own home!

I enjoy learning new things everyday. My favorite thing about being a caregiver is knowing that you can make a same difference in someone's life. Am most proud of my children .

As a small girl, I always wanted to help the elderly and anyone less fortunate than me.I was raised by 2 very loving, church going parents. The most important thing I love about being a caregiver is the gratification of knowing that I am appreciated in my responsibilities. During my childhood years, caring for my elderly grandparents was a part of my everyday life. They had several health issues and were in and out of hospitals frequently. I was exposed to caregivers in many different settings. The impact that kind, compassionate and informative care-giving made all the difference to me and my family. At the age of 12, I knew nursing was what I wanted to do with my life. As I pursued nursing, I started out caring for patients in a nursing home as a nursing assistant. I loved this, as I got to care for clients, just like my grandparents. The opportunity to establish connections with clients week-to-week was special! After nursing school, I moved to caring for patients in a hospital setting as a Registered Nurse. The hospital experiences have given me a broad scope of skills, whether it is assisting patients with basic self-care needs, changing dressings, managing ventilators or providing education, being able to establish a rapport with patients and their family's is still one of the favorite parts of my job. I love being able to help people understand what is going on with their health and their treatment plan. Just as others demonstrated to my own family, I want each of my clients and their family members to feel safe, cared for and heard.

My name is Lilly, I have been a cna for 5 going on 6 years. I wanted to become a cna because I love helping and taking care of other people. I want to be a caregiver because it allows you more one on one time with your patients.

I enjoy caring for and helping the elderly, as well as others who might need assistance. I have been a home health care for about 12 years. I was also CNA certified for 6 years. I have experience especially with Dementia /Alzheimer's , cancer patients and paraplegic patients. I love my job because I feel that the elderly deserve the upmost respect and I strongly believe they deserve the best quality of care.

I became a caregiver because, I enjoy helping the elderly preform tasks that they are no longer able to preform on their own.
