Hi! I'm Blaykelyn, I've been a C.N.A since February, I got it through my High School. I love every minute of it. I love helping people. I'm going to college for nursing in the fall, but it's a community college so I'll only have classes 2 days a week, so i'll still have the time to do my job.

Approximately 15 years ago, I became my mother's Caregiver after she came home from Rehab for a major stroke. After working in a Family Medical office for a couple years, I began my Caregiver career. In the past 10+ years, I have worked as a Home Health Aide and CNA, providing many services to families and their loved ones, including (but not limited to) Alzheimers, Dementia, Quadriplegic, and Hospice Care. Services provided include companionship, transportation, meal prep, feeding, light housekeeping, pericare, input/output, taking and recording vitals, catheter care, colostomy care, medication reminders, assistance with bathing, showers, dressing, transfers, wound care maintenance, and oxygen maintenance. My special focus has been with Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I am a CNA and certified in CPR and First Aid, and continue to work on completing additional medical courses and pursue avenues to help strengthen me as a Professional Caregiver. I also maintain current Individual Professional Liability Insurance. Your loved ones peace of mind, comfort and health is my priority.

I am new to Carelinx but not new to caregiving. I helped care for my mother for almost five years until she passed away at 90. I always enjoyed doing the extras that made her feel better and brightened her days. I also helped to raise my two grandchildren since my son became a single father when they were very young.

I have cared for my family and family friends for years. All, I want to do is help those who can't help themselves like they use to do. The way my mother cared for me when, I was young. She gave me the heart to care for others. The smiles on their faces when i can make them happy. Seeing my family walk again after their knee surgeries.

As a caregiver, it is one of my core beliefs to serve those who need my help the most as a servant of God. I believe I was put on this Earth to help people and all living creatures, and while ultimately, I'm training to be a veterinarian, I know that when I work as a caregiver, I'm doing what I know in my heart to be the best thing I can do for the people in my community and my world.

I have been involved in a healthcare setting for 20+ years. I have worked in hospital setting, long term care, hospice, home health and doctors offices. I am very passionate about taking care of others. I love doing it, it makes me happy to know that I am providing care for someone in need.

I've worked in the Medical Field since 2005 specializing in Geriatric Care. I started as a Home Health Aide working for Hospice, then received a position at a Nursing Home where I fell in love with residents suffering from Dementia and Alzheimer's. I am also a CHT (Hemodialysis Technician), MHT (Mental Health Technician), and a Veterinary Technician working at the world renowned Hagyard Equine Medical Institute. I am a very hard working and compassionate person with a strong sense of integrity. I'm highly educated and trained in Dementia and Alzheimer's. This is where I shine! A calm and structured environment is important, and knowing when a patient is, "Sun-downing," is a must in my line of work. I find that gentle redirection and patience helps eliminate any stress, and or, triggers. I will make sure your loved one gets the best possible care, all the while maintaining dignity, respect, and encouraging independence. My responsibilities also include: ADL's (Activities of Daily Living), meal preparations, housekeeping, companion care, assisting with showers, assisting with medications, pet care, and running errands.

Hello, I have been a nursing assistant for approximately 28 years. I have worked in various healthcare settings such as nursing homes, hospitals and home health. I recently moved to Georgetown, Ky after working in Cincinnati in a cardiovascular intensive care unit. I am looking for a position as a caregiver of either a senior or a family. I am great with children and even provided day care services in my home some years ago. I am honest, loyal, hardworking, optimistic, cheerful, prompt, and a non-smoker. I have reliable transportation and am comfortable with pets. I am seeking long-term employment with a team-oriented family or senior. I am detailed oriented and am able to work independently to meet the needs of my employer. My husband and I are empty nesters so I enjoy being able to help others again. I enjoy the elderly most of all, I love being a caregiver and spending my days with them knowing I'm able to help them with any of their ADLs or just being around them to give companionship someone to talk and or to do puzzles with, take out shopping/ running errands just anything I appreciate any time I'm giving the opportunity to help them. My work ethic makes me a great caregiver being dependable and I have a strong passion for caregiving for the elderly.
