Hello, My name is Amy and I am a caregiver in your area here in Northern Kentucky. I have been helping families with the care of their loved ones since the 80's when I first helped my grandparents friend's family. They knew that I would take great of him and treat him with respect and dignity. I come from a background of working in customer service and management positions but I also have numerous years of working for other caregiving agencies and as a private caregiver. Approximately 15 years ago, I became my mother's Caregiver after she came home from Rehab for a major stroke. After working in a Family Medical office for a couple years, I began my Caregiver career. In the past 10+ years, I have worked as a Home Health Aide and CNA, providing many services to families and their loved ones, including (but not limited to) Alzheimers, Dementia, Quadriplegic, and Hospice Care. Services provided include companionship, transportation, meal prep, feeding, light housekeeping, pericare, input/output, taking and recording vitals, catheter care, colostomy care, medication reminders, assistance with bathing, showers, dressing, transfers, wound care maintenance, and oxygen maintenance. My special focus has been with Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I am a CNA and certified in CPR and First Aid, and continue to work on completing additional medical courses and pursue avenues to help strengthen me as a Professional Caregiver. I also maintain current Individual Professional Liability Insurance. Your loved ones peace of mind, comfort and health is my priority.

I have been a C.N.A and or caregiver for about 15 years off and on. I have done in home care, assisted living, and long term care in a skilled facility. I become a caregiver from the natural nature of my personality. Since the young ago of 16 I started my experience with Nursing Home settings, along with this career choice at such a young age I cared for my grandmother that was diagnosed with Alzheimers and cancer. My son was born with disability that was around the clock care for a young mother. Being a nurturing person I crave to care for those whom are not able to do so for themselves. I cared for my ailing father who was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, my father passed 2 yrs ago and I have stuggled with the loss, yet I feel I have a heart big enough to care for others. I took an opportunity in caring for a elderly couple living in their home till her passing. One of the best experiences I had chosen to do. I went to Medical Assisting program where I excelled and was voted most successful. Knowing I have this to offer it's finding a family that we click and giving loved ones the security knowing their loved one is taken very well cared for.
