I always love helping my elderly clients & families with companionship, household tasks, sweeping, mopping, helping clients complete their activities of daily living each day! I decided to become a caregiver when I was 18, I have always loved helping family's provide care for there loved ones! I'm an extremely empathetic, caring and compassionate person. I am a caretaker by nature and have always felt that doing such work I was born to do. I grew up taking close care of family members and got great joy from doing so. I feel caretaking gives me incredible purpose and can't imagine doing anything else.

In 2017 I graduated from nursing school with the intention of helping people be stay healthy and feel their best. I also have the necessary skills that are needed to care for a person with healthcare issues such as medical monitoring, medication administration, nutrition, etc. I also have a solid understanding of the pathology of many different diseases and illness such as diabetes, dementia, heart disease and the like. Most importantly I possess critical thinking skills needed to identify an emergency or changes that may lead to the need for further care. I possess a high degree of both professionalism and empathy. I have a great sense of humor and a ton of life experience. I treat my patients just as I would my own family and friends. I have been a care giver 27 years and have done everything from the range of in home care to nursing homes and hospitals.. I have experienced all types of patients as far as mental health, long term care, pre and post surgical care, telemetry care, special care , altimizers care and hospice care.

I became a caregiver when my father became ill and needed someone to take care of him. I am a retired licensed massage therapist and taking care of people is what I am passionate about. Being a caretaker is a perfect fit for me because I enjoy working with people, I am strong which makes transfers not a problem, helping clients with rehab or exercises comes naturally, I'm a gourmet cook, and am a trained artist so we can always think of a fun project to play around with.
