Hello I'm Teiara and I am 29 years old. I'm from Maysville Nc. Im a country girl. I love being outside or at the beach. My first job was caregiving and I grew to love it. I have 12 years for care giving experience. I treat all my people I serve as family showing them the love and compassion needed while attending to their physical needs. I'm good at what I do and love it.

I'm a very cheerful person who enjoys caring for others. I became a caregiver in 2018 and thought I'm not sure if this is for me but we will see! Well 4 almost 5 years Later I love what I do no matter the person, age or problems they have Being able to help someone and be their friend at the same time make me enjoy my work much more. Being a healthcare worker is more than just a job/career to me it's my life and I enjoy every bit of it. My most recent achievement I am proud of as a caregiver was helping an elderly lady a couple of houses down from me and she had fallen outside there was no one around to help her at the time, my family and I had come home from a night out so I put my children in the house and ran over to make sure she was okay and proceeded to help her up check her scratches and bruises out and help her inside her home. It was actually the same lady who gave me a hard time at one point but that time nothing else mattered.

What I attracted me to being a caregiver is the fact I have always wanted to work in the medical field just not knowing what I wanted to do exactly but becoming a caregiver made me want to become a nurse. I enjoy most about caregiving is making clients day making them smile treating them not different than anyone else & giving them something to look forward to everyday! The most personal achievement I am proud of is pursuing my goals in the medical field and not stopping!

I am a 42 year old mother of a teenage boy. I had a mother that died young at 48 that I took care of that was sick almost my whole life and I've lost my father as well so I realize having somebody to take care of you and help you when you need it the most means a lot. And I am willing to give it my all and be there for somebody that needs it so a son or a daughter oh whatever the case may be can have a peace of mind because that means a lot. I have a clean record I have never been in trouble and I have no issues that could keep me from not being the best that I could be for somebody. I do drive I do have my own license and I have no trouble taking anybody back and forth to where they need to go and being their friend that they need daily to make their day easier!

I am caring, professional, compassionate, openminded and very patient. My 11 years of experiance as a CNA and 3 years as a Medical Assistant have groomed me to be a great caregiver. When I was 19 my grandmother was diagnosed with demtia, she declined rapidly and our family did not want to put her in a nursing home but we needed some extra hands in her care. We decided to hire a caregiver to help us in giving my grnadmother the proper care while keeping her comfortable at home. The caregiver turned out to be a young, untrained and untrustworthy person, our family was devastated and wanted to keep everyone away from my grnadmother after that. Some time had passed and I thought to myself I would make a great caregiver to my grandmother and so did my family. That is where my desire to be a great caregiver was born.

I am a caring person who enjoys helping others. I have worked with children and adults with disabilities for 35 years. I experience joy watching people grow and enrich their lives. I believe an older person has a lot of wisdom to share. I would treat them with dignity and respect that they deserve.

Hello! I am a graduate from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor's of Science in Sociology. After graduating I worked for about 5 years with families and children who have emotional disabilities. Since then I have volunteered with the elderly and worked a summer at Sealevel transporting residents. I've been told I'm very patient and empathetic and I believe that's very important with caregiving. Helping others is very rewarding and fulfills a sense of purpose in me.
