Hi my name is Alani Thrower I am a loving a caring person. I love to help and take care of people as well. The thing I enjoy the most about helping people is that they always know I'm here to help and make sure their comfortable and remember they are always a human being.

I'm a kind and patient caregiver. My oldest friend is 105. I understand the challenges that come with getting older, and some of the frustration that accompany it. It's important to have someone that can help with daily/weekly tasks such as cleaning, shopping or meal preparation. I am a great caregiver because I am compassionate , kind and love what I do. I have been a caregiver for the last 20 years. My mother motivated me to get in this field ,as she had been diagnosed with lung cancer at the age of 65. Unfortunately she passed away at 67 , which will be 20 years this October. I love working with the elderly. I have had some great experiences through the years of my career. Looking forward to many more. I am now in school on line to get my Associate of Science degree in Allied health.

I go to work on time I always smile I always do my best at work I have a caring heart I love to help others with needs and care.I took care of my dad until he was sick and that made me wanted to reach out more with others .I enjoy most about caregiving is just being there to help .I am proud of being a good caregiver and a listener to clients.

Personality traits: I try to put myself in the other person's shoes. I am a person of the highest integrity and dress in a professional manner. I know how to balance empathy and caring in such a way that as I care for the body, the mind and soul feels cared for as well giving a sense of comfort in knowing everything's going to be alright and they feel safe and secure. The thing that attracted me to being a care giver is, I like to "Help" people. I'm interested in the wisdom an elderly person has. I enjoy being a caregiver because helping others puts a smile on their face knowing they are safe and secure in my care at maybe their most vulnerable state. One personal achievement I am proud of is being excepted into the 2019 Strathmore's Worldwide Who's Who in my occupation as a Health Care provider. I have 15 years prior experience as a NA11. I've worked in agencies with Home Health and Hospice and in a skilled nursing facility. I have experience with every aspect that it takes to care for your loved one with over 20yrs. In all. The one thing that makes me a great care giver is I listen to their needs not my agenda and I love what I do.

Hey my name is Jessica Gregory I am 30 years old with no children and I enjoy taking vacations especially to the beach in my free time. I started out being a care taker for my grandmother at a very young age around 10 years old but it came so natural to me to love an provide the care for my grandmother for the things that I knew she couldn't do for herself I cared for my grandmother until she passed away. Then my passion for taking care of people just grew more an more over the years before you knew it I had three elderly neighbors that when I would get out of school instead of playing with other children I was on my bicycle riding to each of my elderly neighbors house to make sure that they were OK an did not need anything an if they did I was always there to help. When I finally turned 18 I got my first job in the health care field as an in home aide to an older woman who turned out being an CAP patient in the end I worked with this sweet lady for 7 years until she passed away. I mostly enjoyed being able to be an assistant to an elder for the things that they can not do themselves. I am most proud of the great level of care that I know I have provided as a care giver over the years.
