I love helping people in need and mainly love caregiving because I'm able to help people who really need assistance and hopefully make them feel better and feel that they are not alone and that they mean something and people care about their wellbeing. At the age of 8 I started being my mom's assistant caring for people and my first patient was my grandmother I cared for her for many years as she became more sick my responsibility grew I was responsible for bathing, cleaning, laundry, hygiene and more but the part I loved the most was the good talks that we had I was able to make her feel alright and happy and not alone until the day she passed. I would love to continue to do those things for people around the world if I am given the opportunity it makes me so happy and makes me feel like a good person. I am ambitious, patient, compassionate, dependable and attentive. My grandmother has been bedridden since I was a kid. At the age of 18 I took on the responsibility to take care of her as an aide. I fell in love with this line of work from there. I love being the person to make my clients day or make them smile. My personal achievement is being the first in my family to attend college.

I started caregiving right out of high school as soon as i was of age to do so. I've always had a love for helping people and with a family full of nurses it felt right to jump right in. I was in school for nursing but changed my mind on that certain degree and plan on switching in the future. I have been a caregiver for more than 4 years and love each and every day of it.
