What is a personal achievement you are proud of ? I start working with my great grandmother and I see the I start loving what I'm doing with out going to college because that is something that comes from your heart . What attracted you to being a caregiver? The love of the old people I love working with them. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? That it's a great job and you can learn more to take care everyone.

I have been a CNA for over 30+ years. I love working with the elderly. I love to hear their life stories and seeing them smile as they reminisce of the days of old. A personal achievement I am proud of , I'm a mother of 5 and a grandmother of 17.

What makes me a great caregiver is my personality. I've been in the care giving field since I was 17. Even before that. I was helping my mom at her job since I was 7. My whole life I've grown to love the caregiving field.

I started out in the the hospitality business by going to school for cosmetology and I quickly realized it did not fulfill my dreams. I decided healthcare is where I wanted to be. I am a CNA and for the past 2 years I have been helping my grandmother and other family members with their medical needs. I am a mom of 3 wonderful kids a cat and a dog. I have several years experience working for local agencies assisting the developmentally disabled with their adl's and gaining independence in the community. I have a likeable personality and I love to laugh. People find me enjoyable to be around. I would like to do private care so I have the opportunity to spend more time with my individuals. I am proud of being a homeowner and showing my children that at any age school is possible.

I became a caregiver to help others in their time of need and give the best care possible. I enjoy helping others and also being inspired to be my best in what I do in life and the career I chose. I have been chosen from numerous people to be the supervisor of the majority of my cases, which inspires me to give my all. I have been a caregiver for 28yrs plus, Making sure my clients are comfortable and happy with the care given. I am 52 reside in Canandaigua, children raised and grown, can be flexible with times needed, I have exper. in alzheimers, cancer, stroke, term. ill, etc.. also have exper. with catherdors, hoyers, j-tubes, wheel chairs, bed stricken, etc.., I can clean, cook, shop, take to appts., etc.. I enjoy what I do for others.

I am a patient and understanding person and love to help people sick or not I have been a cna for20years and before that took care of my father in law for 7 years he had throat cancer I love what I do iam an excellent caregiver because its in my heart. I love this line of work because im a people person and I'll treat everyone as I would want to be treated or as i would want someone to treat my parents.

I love helping people and taking care of people. This is a very rewarding field just knowing I am helping someone who really needs it means the world to me. I am a very compassionate caring person. I have worked at skilled nursing home for 3 years. I have experience with rehab, dementia, and long term care.

I choose to be come a caregiver because of my grandma, watching her slowly struggle and get worse she needed aids and help herself. The way she talked about how much of a difference a good caregiver really was made me realize that I could do that and make a difference as well. I also knew what kind o wanted to be. I love the fact that you can brighten someone's day by just showing up helping and encourage them to keep doing things and being as independent as they can. My best achievement would probably me working hard and receiving my cna before even graduating high school. I am a person who will go out of my way to help others and do what what is needed without being asked, especially when it comes to safety.

I became a caregiver mostly because when I was a younger girl, I was raised by my god mother who was the absolute best person I've ever met. Unfortunately she became very ill and even though I was young I did everything I could to help, to care for her, and to make sure she knew she was loved. When she passed away in 2005 I started working in a senior living center where I found the love of helping others like I did when I cared for my mom. I knew it was what I wanted to do. I love being a caregiver because when I see the expression on others faces after helping them, and making their lives as easy a possible it honestly puts a smile on my face and warmth in my heart. A personal achievement over the years of caregiving has to be the amount of levels of experience and different fields I have worked in the health field. Looking back now I am extremely proud of starting out years ago and thinking about all the things I've done, the people I have helped, and the experience I have gained. A little about me.. I am very hard working, motivated, and honest human being. I have a good personality and I love to make others smile. I love being a caregiver and I have always put my best effort forward when it comes to my job. Outside of work I love being with my family, and my friends. Spending time outside, seeing new places, movies and music.
