Hi there. I just wanted to reach out and give you somewhat of an understanding of the care i provide. I have over 12 years of experience. The most important thing I came to understand in my years in this field, that most home health companies are quick to hire just about anyone regardless of passion for the job. My patients I had would get so angry because it was never the same person and it made them uncomfortable. So i decided to take the necessary steps to work for myself so that i can hire and train the best and ensure that i am always providing the type of care we would want for our own family. Hello there, My name is Paige. I'm 25 years old and originally from Texas. I'm happily married with four loving children. We moved to Ohio in 2011 so my husband could chase after his dream and become an officer. Once he was done and he got the job I decided I wanted to go back to school. I've been a private caregiver for 3 years now. I have been with the last family for a year and a half now. Prior to the 3 years I cared for my grandmother which inspired me to start nursing school. I'm very experienced with Alzheimer's and dementia patients but I do have experience with other people also. I have lots of great qualities but one that doesn't come in everybody is patience. I however have a lot of patience which is a very important key factor being a caregiver. Working with the same family for this long period has given me the Benefit to build a trusting relationship with my client. I also attend a Alzheimer's support group every month And I get new ideas for the familites to try also. Being someone's companion is my favorite part of being a caregiver. It's more then just cleaning them up or feeding them. Things I like to do with my clients is crochet if they know how to do it. That's a great bonding exercise. I'm a very compassionate person and I treat my clients like they are my family.

I'm a 19 year old CNA. I choose the healthcare field since I grew up into it. For example i took care of my Aunt who had 2 strokes by myself while going to school full time. I think it's important when your a CNA to also be the companion and give them someone to talk to!
