I love the interaction, the closeness and the level of respect I can give as an outsider. I have plenty of references. I am skilled with Medicare insurance and DME companies to get supplies so patients don't have to pay out of pocket so they can get what they need to stay home. I have worked with doctors and agencies to get care that is needed. My patients become family and I take care of them as such. I have worked with loved ones that have Alzheimer's, Dementia, ALS, and everything in between. I am very good at my job and I do very much take a lot of stress off the family members. I I am very good at my job and care deeply for the people I take care and treat them as I would my own. I have always made sure I am worth what I make. I not only can do the health aspect part of the job but I will also help around the house. I can take you or just run errands for you. My references will tell you what I do not. I care about everybody, and try too help out as many people as possible. It brings a smile too my face when I see others smile, and i know I'm doing everything I can too make that person comfortable and happy. What I really love about being a caregiver is the conversations I have with the elderly. Hearing about their life, and diffrent expirences they went through sometimes are life changing. Just getting too know them and knowing I'm helping someone makes me happy. One of the achievements I'm proud of is passing my TNA classes & getting a certificate. That made my day.

I love making a different in the lives of others.after taking care of my grand mother i developed the ability to care for people in need.When I came to the state in 1985 this was the job I acquired and I have being doing it ever since.I had worked in the nursing home setting,,hospital, and private homes. I have a positive impact on my client I smile a lot I'm open to communicate with my client, listened to there concern encouraged them making decisions if the can and to involve them in there care plan.i give ADL care, good hygiene,,cooked, do laundry, serve there meal but if client needs assistance with feeding I will do it. I do client shopping, take client out for recreation, make drs' appointment and take them to there appointment, medications remainder,or administered medications, reports any concerns to family member who is POA.It rewarding when you see your client condition is improving.Care giver job is rewording when you bond with your client and the built trust in you.

(2) Why did I become a caregiver: When i was in my early twenties I had got a job in activities in a Nursing Facility and realized this was my passion. Then became a Cna/ Gna. I enjoy caring for others. (3) What do I like about being a caregiver: I like being a caregiver because it makes me feel good to know that I'm having a positive impact caring for someone .

I became a caregiver because I am a compassionate , kind person who believes that anyone going through a tough journey deserves to have the best of care by someone who cares . I find the greatest reward in my job is meeting people who matter , and can offer as much to me as i can to them. I believe i learn from every person ive ever cared for. I am most proud of having every person ive ever cared for like the person i am and be leased with the care i have given them. I have gone through knowing hard journeys in life because my own child was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at 10 yrs. Old..i became a caregiver to her and learned so much about how precious every life is..

I started as a CNA info 1994 working in a nursing home and the hospital. I went into this profession because i want to take care of people that can not take care of themselves and their families are unable to. I am very compassionate about the work that I do. The people that I have taken care of over the years i have treated with the same respect and dignity that i would want for my family. I love what I do and get great pressure taking care of others.

I enjoy caring for people. The smiles on my residents faces Raising 4 children as a single parent I and a single parent who works hard for her family enjoy cooking and spending time with family and friends.

i became a caregiver because i have a great passion for this job, i love assisting elderly people with their activities of daily living, i always love to challenge and endulge myself in several situations. After helping take care of my oldest sister before she passed away I found that it is very rewarding to assist those who need help with daily needs. I love to motivate people; I had a client who would separate himself from the group, after finding out some of his interest I was able to get him to engage and socialize with others. I am self motivated and always do not only what is necessary to take care of my clients but to go that extra step to make them feel special and cared for.
