I'm Kelly! I am a very easy going and sweet caregiver. I am super reliable and great at what I do. I have been doing this for 4 years and i have experience in many areas such as dementia care, Parkinson's disease, colostomy care, immobility and bed bound, lift assist, cooking , cleaning and pet care. My grandmother is the reason I became a caregiver, her dementia inspired me to want to help others the way I want her to be helped. Now that I can't help her as much I get a genuine fulfillment from helping other peoples mother's and grandparents it makes me feel like I have a huge purpose. I am very proud of all the skills I have learned in this field and I am in nursing school trying to further my education.

Since I was a young girl, I have always taken great interest in caring for others. I usually am able to tell what someone I'm caring for needs before they even know they need it. I take great pride in being able to make someone laugh or smile as I am a big kid at heart.. You're only as old as you feel.. To me, being a caregiver is effortless, although I put my all into my patients and their needs.

I have years of experience working with Alzheimer's, dementia, feeding, preparing meals, bathing, total care and all mechanical devices etc. I have 3 children which 2 is serving in the Arm Force and one daughter. I came from a family where we all worked into the medical field caring and always helping others. A few years ago my father became ill and was diagnose with stomach cancer along with having dementia. I realized being a care giver and caring for others it took a special person to do this and I realized that I had to find someone just like me to help with caring for my father until his passing. I am consistent always on time as well I treat everyone with kindness and dignity. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver was my grandmother she was hospitalized and I was the sole provider for her when she was bedridden those were the best 6 months of my life just being able to give back to a woman who gave so much to me and my mom. Without our elderly, we would be nothing in this world they gave us a foundation and my mission is to give back and make sure that they are fully taken care of. What I enjoy most about caregiving is the smile I see on there face every day when they see I am at their home there to assist and the love they have for me being around them. A personal achievement I am proud of is starting school so that I may become an RN and I will be able to do more for the elderly and give them great care and peace of mind. Hello! My names Latoya. I was a teacher for 20yrs in Virginia. Moved to the Myrtle Beach area about 3 years ago. I've always had an interest non working with children, but also just working with people in general. I always been a people person. I love to establish and build relationships. Love to see that I can make a difference in someone's life and make them smile. Love seeing them happy, love to help them as well. I started off taking care of my great grandma at a very young age. I loved every minute of helping her out so I tried being a caregiver about 6 years ago and fell in love with helping people out in ways they can't help themselves with daily stuff/just being a shoulder to cry on or a open ear. Seeing the smiles and knowing I can help and make stuff easier for people makes me feel great. I love doing what I do and helping people out.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE being a caregiver!! It started when my grandmother was sick and had a stroke. I helped take care of her, along with my Uncle. I then decided that I wanted to help others from pediatrics to seniors. My favorite are the seniors! I enjoy making them smile, laugh, feel at ease, and keep them less stressed or worried about getting their daily activities completed. I have been a caregiver for more than 20 years and I love it!! I enjoy hearing about their lives growing up and stories of today! I can not see myself doing anything else than helping people the best that I can as a caregiver.
