The love I have for people whom can't help themselves what has help me to be a great caregiver from working in daycares to working in private homes with other love ones. What attracted me to being a caregiver is my family gave care for years I watched my mother work in nursing homes to private duty nursing as a little girl growing up to have a heart. I love taking care of people, providing them with better life choices because I'm there to care for them when other times they may be afraid to step too far out of their home, for fear they won't make it back inside or fear of the world and people in it. I want to be there to give them that security blanket and secure them in their daily activities because I know they like to gain that self independence and do things more independently without having to sit around and not get what they wanted done. It helps to promote longer health and happiness from within. Something that so many take for granted. I love caring for the elderly and those that are less fortunate.

Unlike most "sitters", Anne took the time to work on games, puzzles, go over magazines with her, as well as move her into common areas which were calmer and more social than the memory care areas. She has been very caring and considerate of our needs as well as my mother's. Anne has only been available to us part-time but we would have hired her for full time in a heart-beat had she been available. She is excellent!
