Hi Ive been in the medical field in various levels of patient care over 35 years. I have prenursing training and education , Im a registered Phlebotomist and Medical Assistant, much more than a CNA. After caring for my 95 year old mom for 6 years; the realization needing an xtra hand, if nothing else to get a break , was challenging to locate a professional quality caregiver that actually knew what they were doing, and were reliable. It's important to have a good fit with your reliable caregiver. In order to achieve quality care, the well-being , help maintain as much independence as possible, and mentally stimulation; plus provide comfortably safe environment is crucial. I offer a variety of shifts, days, and nights, over-night and weekends /holidays stays, to assist, and provide that much needed break to the full time family caregivers. Especially if you are on your own and need a helping hand till you recover, I'm there for you. I enjoy making a difference helping those that really need it. I am very positive and happy at all times. I smile and laugh at lot and it is very uplifting to my patients. My mother passed away from cancer in 2002. I cared for her until she went to heaven. I would like to believe that I would be a perfect fit for anyone but thats not true. What I can say about myself is that I am dedicated, I am a hard worker, and I am a fast learner. I have been in healthcare some way, shape, or form since I was 15. I started off in a nursing home in the kitchen, went to work at a group home for developmentally challenged individuals, then I moved to a memory care unit while I resided in Florida, and now I work in emergency services as a dispatcher. Hello I've been a care giver for a while now and I know that this job requires much love and compassion. I respect all my clients and I love speaking and listening to them.
