I have training in home health, hospice, palliative care, private sitter, and companion care. I have passed my background screening and I am CPR certified, too. I enjoy working with seniors because some of them have lived some adventurous lives. My greatest achievement is making a difference in their lives and they tell you so. When your day is over you know you have done your best. You can look up and smile.

I'm a very upfront outgoing person. I've been a Certified Nurse Assistant since I was 18 yrs old. I was helping my Mom out with my Dad during his battle with lung cancer. I enjoyed giving my Dad one on one care. I cared for him while my Mother was at work. Allowing him to be comfortable in his own home. After he passed I went on to take the CNA, CMA, Phlebotomy class at Kilgore College. I enjoyed mostly the one on one time spent with my patients. Getting to know them. I've worked in Long term care facilities. Prisons, Home healths, Assisted living homes. I mostly enjoy going into the homes as a Companion. Just giving somebody the option of staying home. What makes me a great caregiver is because this is my God given Gift to care for His love ones. We each have a Gift that God has given us before we were born, and mines is to be able to care for the Elderly. At the end of the day, I get to go home knowing that I was given an opportunity, and the challenge and the blessing of being able to care for the Elderly. I think that's why I was put on this earth, and I think its' my calling like I said earlier in this statement. This is my purpose in life, and I am fulfilled by doing so. Below is a prayer I wrote. Our father, as I enter into the Homes of your love ones, I bring your presence with me. I speak your Peace, your Grace, your Mercy and your Perfect Order as I, the caregiver do your will. I acknowledge your power over all that will be spoken, though, decided, and done within these walls. Lord, I thank you for the Gifts that you have blessed me with. I commit to using them responsibly in your Honor. Give me a fresh supply of strength to do your will. Anoint my projects, and ideas, so that even my smallest accomplishment may bring you Glory. Our Heavenly Father, when I as your Servant am confused; guide, and lead me. When I am burned out, infuse me with the Light of the Holy Spirit. May the work that I do, and the way that I do it, bring Faith, Joy, and a Smile to all of your love ones that I come in contact with each and every day. Thank you Heavenly Father for given me, the Caregiver an opportunity, and the challenge, and the Blessings of being able to care for, and to help your love ones, the ELDERLY. In Jesus name, I pray, AMEN So you see, this is who I am, and my Character, and who God created me to be! Thank you!

I was born to be a caregiver! Over the years I have always been very atune to medical needs as well as the ability to calm a screaming baby that even the mother is unable to calm. I helped care for my grandparents and my mother who passed away this year. I also cared for my daughter whom is a walking miracle! At the age of 11 she dislocated her thumb for the first time...a year and 8 hand surgeries...including both thumbs eventually fused...she was diagnosed 2 days before Thanksgiving of 2009 with leukemia. She is now 7 years chemo free but still has a few residual effects from 3 years of chemo. Some say that I have "divine healing hands" and I love healing people IF they will let me! I have always loved medice and would love to be a doula one day. I enjoy visiting with people. Some say that I can talk too much but I really dont mean to. I am next to the oldest of 6 kids and have 3 of my own. I also have 2 grandkids and one that will arrive in December. I would love the opportunity to be there to help a family with their loved one and give them a little peace of mind and take a little stress out of your life. I personally know how stressful being the "family caregiver" can be.
