Greetings, I've discovered that regardless of someones health condition or disability everyone deserves to have a good quality life and to be happy, thats way I became a "Compassionate Caregiver" it is so important to provide compassionate care to thoughes that need caring for. One of my good friends was in a car accident that left him as a Quadriplegic, now being such a young man, he became very depress with life and I had a problem with that so I decided to learn how to care for him and I did just that. I started by being Trained by the Healthcare facility free of charge were he lived. I started class room and hands on training for eight weeks and I had taken a CPR course. I did this so my friend could have a quality life. I also taken a course on how to transfer Quadriplegic patients so that I could transfer him the correct way from his wheel chair to my car and from the car to his wheelchair and back into the facility were he was living, that alowed us to go places, Dr appointments and places he liked going to. Then he stoprd looking at his self deficiencies but instead, he started loving life once again and loving people and we made the best of things. So he begin enjoying are times together once again just like old times and thats how I became a Home Healthcare Provider.

I have Many years of experience caring for the elderly in their daily tasks, Compassion and patience are definitely my gifts and I always strive to exceed all expectations.

Being the oldest of 4 children I have grown fast with caring with my siblings being the oldest taught me responsibilities of caring for many but in the last 7 years I have learned to care for my father thru different medical conditions such as back surgeries and recovery , physical therapy , cancer treatment like chemo and radiation.Also taking to multiple doctors appointments,running errands like grocery shopping and cooking , laundry and cleaning. It's important as being a caregiver you meet the needs of the patient as well as supporting them thru their time of needs.
