Hello, Caregiver is an option I was opened about because of love and care is one of my expertise and what better way then to show an elder. I use to be a caregiver for my father who has diabetes, and an amputation on his feet. I have experience what it is to care with love. I feel I have met the requirements to be a caregiver.

My goal in life is to become an Occupational Therapist. I have already completed a huge step by graduating with honors from the University. However, I intend on growing. My primary goal is to help people in any sort of form they might need.

I am a caring and compassionate individual.I enjoy assisting the elderly with as much as possible to make them feel worthy of themselves. The elderly tend to be very lonely; either because they don't have family that care or visit with them, or they simply don't care about their family members. Sometimes it is just companionship that the person is looking for to have a conversation. My goal is to make that person feel comfortable and establish a friendship in order to feel better and maybe forget about their illness.

I'm very enthusiastic about helping older people. I've always helped my grandparents whenever they're going through tough times or need help. Recently, I helped my grandma cure her foot. She had stepped on a nail and she went to the doctor. Furthermore, the doctor told her that she had to be treated at home every week to prevent an amputation since she's diabetic. I would go every Wednesday to be with her and help her heal her foot by cleaning the wound and applying medicine to it. This made me realize how much I was interested in being a caregiver because older people struggle to do certain tasks that are easier for the younger generation, such as showering, cooking, getting out of bed and washing clothes. I know that one day I will grow old as well and more than likely there's a possibility I will need help to complete similar tasks like those. I want to be able to help older people and make them realize how special they are and that they're not alone.
