I am Virginia Board Certified Nursing Assistant with over five years of home health and assisted living care. After raising four children I returned to school and became certified as a Home Health Aid, Nursing Assistant as well as Phlebotomy Tech. I believe that everyone has the right to quality care, and an advocate to ensure they are treated with dignity and respect. Raising four children has taught me that one must always use and implement active listening skills as well as expect the unexpected. My passion for health care comes from years of experience as a mother, wife and caregiver to family and friends.

I become a caregiver when my mom got sick. I realize at that moment I will be a good aide. I love taking care of people. I really enjoy the feeling of putting a smile on someone's face. letting them know they can always count on me to be there to assist when the needs arises. I have recieved awards for my job. I have families who still keep in touch with me because of how wonderful i took care of their love ones. Hello everyone my name is Teanna Murphy, I have 9 years of expert experience in the medical field. I hold many titles/hats. To go down the list I am a CNA, med aide, aba clinician, companion, direct support professional and professional pizza lover. I have worked in facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, group homes(youth and adults) , jails, asylums etc. You name it I've done it. My short term goal is to find a stable family or families I can work with ..out of everywhere I worked I truly enjoy working in home care because I feel like I'm actually useful and can bond and create a great professional relationship with he client and family. The thing I enjoy the most is making my clients happy and helping them with their ADL's. I'm an animal lover so if you have any ill love them right away and treat them as if they are my own pets. (I own a dorkie). My personal achievement is to give great caregiving service while also making sure all your needs are met.

I believe I am a great caregiver. I truly love after 26 years of being a caregiver the satisfaction of giving the best possible care I can to the people whom I take care of. My Caring ,Loving and Motivating personality makes it, usually, easy to have people enjoy my company and want to become the best that they can. Within my profession, I have been in close contact with many family members discussing all aspects of the patients needs and concerns.I have even kept in contact with some after the patient is no longer with us.
