Hello my name is Karla, I have been a caregiver since 1998. Besides caregiving I also have a love for animals, dogs, cats, horses, etc. I live on a small farm in Vader. I knew I wanted to be a caregiver when I was 16, my grandfather moved in with us and we hired hospice to help us care for him. I was in awe of the help we recieved from these wonderful ladies. I worked in a hospital for 20 years. I started out in housekeeping then went to school to recieve my Certified Nurses Aide certificate for Washington state. I have worked in many aspects for the hospital from babies to hospice, emergency room to recovery. I choose to do in home health care when I moved to Vader. I enjoy in home caregiving because I get to meet very interesting clients and families. I enjoy the slower pace of caring for a client one on one. From bathing, playing games, Dr appointments, cooking and cleaning their homes. I am happy to do what it takes to keep your family member safe and happy in their home environment.

Hello my Name in Charlene I am exceptionally capable and compassionate care provider with 21 years of experience with the elderly and the disable. I am a great care provider, hard working and honest person who is able to take initiative and surpass the expectation of the employer or the client I will be working with. One thing that attracted me to be a care provider is meeting a lot of different people and being able to make the client and their family to fill at ease. A personal achievement that I have faced in my life, is when I nearly drowned twice and over came my fear of the water. I love helping people, my heart is all in when I'm caring for my clients/patients. I can build strong relationships with the harder to care for clients, troubleshoot how to care for dementia/alzheimer patients rather quickly like for an example we had a dementia patient that had not had his teeth brushed in 6 months. I worked with his wife to get him a toothbrush and toothpaste that he used at home, he finally let us help do dental hygiene.

Well I've always had a caring nature about me and am a very hardworking and dedicated person, i have always wanted to help anyone i had came across that was sick and needed care. A little backstory for u is when i got my nursing degree so i could start helping my father with his everyday needs as well as helping him get around the house as he was in great deal of pain and would loose breath trying to just roll over. So i took a course in college nursing 090, and by the end of the class i had learned how to transfer him with out a great deal of pain! It made my days well worth every moment, and although he unfortunately did not make it to see me graduate, he sadly passed five short months before i graduated with a 3.8 gpa from LCC here in longview. So i then went on to caring for others in they're homes and absolutely loved becoming apart of many new familys along the way, making all of my clients feel comfortable, loved, important and always giving them a sense of security knowing that i would be there everyday for them and their daily needs that were not bieng or able to be fully met. One thing u should know about me is no matter what i have always enjoyed helping others, which is why i feel i would be a great candidate for you and for your in-home care needs to be met. I have been a caregiver for almost 20 years now I have worked in multiple places like nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living, in home settings, and even worked for a nursing agency where I traveled around and work two different facilities I even got to work in the prison for a short time. I am compassionate and try to take my time with everybody that I take care of I think of them as family. I have been told that I go above and beyond to make sure that my clients are safe happy and having a good day no matter the case. the thing I enjoy most about being caregiver is the fact that I get to help somebody, make their day brighter, and just give them companionship when sometimes they don't have it. I am about to finish my prerequisites to get into the nursing program I want to eventually get my BSN and be an advocate for both the clients and the workers to make sure everyone is safe they have what they need to do their job appropriately and to be taken care of it accordingly.

I have been a CNA for over 20 years. I have worked in every kind of field hospital hospice In-Home Care adult family homes nursing homes and I cared for my grandfather. I love working with elderly I treat them as if they were my grandparents I'm compassionate and caring I love cleaning organizing and I lost both my grandparents so it's nice to be around people that are like my grandparents cuz I miss that. I'm a single mom a three boys but they're all grown so I have a open schedule I can work any schedule anytime anyday and I'm just interested in finding a good client that I can be with for a long time.

I care deeply about people! I have knowledge of many things one in particular is Althimers and Dementia. There is a medication that goes together and works wonders in slowing down this terrible disease. Aricept and Namenda, this medication works together to slow the process. 3 of my patients have done great on this medication. I am an advocate for this and anyone I can help. I can't stand to see anybody who is sick and needs help.

I am a compassionate person, very articulate, dependable, & organized. I have 14 yrs exp. I have attended 40 health care related class's over the last 4 years. I am CPR/First Aid Certified.
