First off, I would like to say that I very much have a heart for the elderly. I love engaging with them in conversation, and find myself drawn to caring for them. I sense that they quickly feel comfortable with me. Generally speaking, I am a very patient and compassionate person who can sense what is going on in the heart of another. I very much enjoy the process of getting to know somebody and finding out how I can best help them. As a nurse assistant, I'm very attentive, detail oriented, and enjoy organizing and planning. It would be my pleasure to discuss my work experience with you and see if I could be a good fit in assisting you with your needs. ~ God bless

I love being a care giver because you can become someone's best friend and help them live life like they are still young and spry! It's such a satisfying feeling leaving work every day knowing that I made life easier for someone and more comfortable. I strive to make their needs happen to the best of my ability. And I treat them the way I would want myself or anyone in my family to be treated, because they are your family and they mean the world to you. They deserve companionship and to be loved just like everyone else. The thing I enjoy most about a being a caregiver is that I make a new friend and get to make every day for them easy and can hopefully help them improve! It's such a rewarding job knowing you've given them love and care when they need it.

I became a caregiver because I love helping others. My favorite part about being a caregiver is giving the elders someone to talk to. I once had a widower who was an elder neighbor which I visited frequently. I would help her with her yard work, grocery shopping, play games, and one time she was doing yard work when she tripped over her hoe and broke her nose and the antibiotic they gave her made her drowsy so she was afraid to sleep at her house by herself so I spent the night.
