I have over five years of experience working in this field. Before that I always had a passion to assist ones who couldn't do for their self so I volunteer at group homes for three years. I went and got my CBRF certificate later and I'm going continue farther my education in this profession.

I became a caregiver to help others, it's always given me pleasure knowing I was able to make someone else's life a little better. I like being a caregiver because it allows me to give back what has been in me. The thing I'm mostly proud of is how much I've accomplished throughout my life. I'm 37 years of age and I've been a CNA for about 13 years now. I'm a very family-oriented, compassionate person who cares about the level of care I provide to others. I'm very dedicated to those I provide services for. I believe in the clients' right to choose his/her care along with treating the client and their loved ones with dignity and respect.

Well, hello everyone! I'm very caring, attentive, and loving caregiver. I first started 5 year's ago; my best friend managed an assistant living, and needed some help. As soon as I began helping everyone I knew this was more than just a job, and that I was needed. What I enjoy the most is just getting to the client and hearing their stories. Along with helping care for them in all area's that help is needed and motivating them to continue doing the thing's they are able to do on their own. I'm just proud that I was able to connect and bond with everyone I cared for and they genuinely loved and appreciated me for it.

What makes me a great caregiver is my motivation and dedication towards my passion. I'm very engaging, I'm always the leader of the group, I can build relationships with residents, family, and coworkers and understand them on a mental/emotional level. When I was younger my abuelo ( grandpa ) was in the ICU and I always seen the RN's do their job and was so interested... the rest is history! A personal achievement I'm proud of is finishing my CNA course I'm one step away from getting my CNA license!

Just growing up watching her influenced me. Building relationships with my clients influences me the most because I love knowing I'm providing a service that many may need & that they are thankful for. I'm 23 years old , I'm in college , and I'm looking to take care of a loved one and create a bond . what makes me a great caregiver is that I'm attentive and responds to situations in a timely manner. I'm patient, and understand that people especially elderly needs constant care and attention. It's the caregiver's job, therefore, to be attuned to those needs even if the patient doesn't or is unable to communicate them.
