I am able to relate to all ages and circumstances. My cheerful personality helps to make the day go smoothly for the most part. I am flexible and easygoing. As a mother who raised a severely-disabled son, I can relate to families and caregiving stress. My goal is to help my clients have the best day possible with the most dignity. My experiences include 25 + years working with seniors and the dementia population. I became a Dementia Specialist and Behavior specialist . My job included hands on care,training staff , facilitating support groups for family and friends of people with dementia. I also did public speaking to groups about dementia. I was certified with the Alzheimers Association, The Dementia Institute, NCCAP,

Raised by my grandmother, I developed the passion of caring for the elderly at a very young age. I worked closely with my grandmother and grandaunts with their daily activities. While in high school, I applied for summer jobs as a caregiver with companies such as home instead senior center and act agency. I enjoyed being around the elderly and providing assistance with daily living. I enjoy the knowledge I gained from interacting. With them on all levels and the stories I was told about life in general. I have been blessed to be in this field for over 10 years and have applied so much of what was passed on by my clients to various areas of life. I am currently a bachelors and masters degree holder in health education and I still find myself attracted to the field of home health and working with the elderly. From 2012 to 2015 , I was blessed to work in a live-in case with a lovely lady who recently passed away in March of 2015. Working with my client for three years, I lived with her and viewed her as more than just a client. She took the role of my late grandmother and I cared for her deeply. I am very passionate about caring for the seniors and I do it with so much pride. I hope to one day open my own home Health agency.
