About Stephanie

I have a great passion for nursing and there is an endless love for what I do. My interest in nursing came about as a young 9 year old girl, when my mother would sometimes take me with to her home care jobs when permissible. I'd see how rewarding it was for her to assist someone else to be able to do what was challenging for themselves or, being able to just help someone to feel a little better when they were ill. She always talked to me growing up about her job and from that time, I knew that I wanted to be in the healthcare field. I have over 20 years experience as a caregiver, and I look forward to continuing my journey into becoming an RN In the very near future.

I have specialized knowledge of Altzeimers and dementia. I have no problem giving insulin shots or morphine as I worked in hospice care. I am single with my son grown up. I have a very flexible schedule yet do make time for myself. I keep Sundays free for church and family. I prefer to work day hours, but will work some evenings if needed. I can only help your loved one if they are able to be mobile as I have a lifting restriction. I can assist someone in and out and up and down, but not if I have to lift.
