About Barbara

When my mom had cancer, I sold my home and moved in with her to take care of her. Being a caregiver can be a very challenging and draining responsibility, however; being able to walk side-by-side with mom on her journey was the greatest blessing I could ever receive in this life. From that point on I finally realized God's gift to me was to serve others and so I pursued it. Now I am the happiest I have ever been in my life! I love to laugh, I am patient, compassionate and a good listener. I absolutely enjoy listening to the history of senior's lives. There is so much to learn from them. My happiest and most fulfilling walk in life is being a Caregiver. I Love What I Do!!

I have specialized knowledge of Altzeimers and dementia. I have no problem giving insulin shots or morphine as I worked in hospice care. I am single with my son grown up. I have a very flexible schedule yet do make time for myself. I keep Sundays free for church and family. I prefer to work day hours, but will work some evenings if needed. I can only help your loved one if they are able to be mobile as I have a lifting restriction. I can assist someone in and out and up and down, but not if I have to lift.
