I have been a patient care assistant/ Direct careworker for over 15 years and I love what I do. I enjoy being able to help people in need. I have worked with many clients that are recovering from strokes. I have also worked with many clients that are suffering from Dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I have worked with many clients that just need companionship also. I have also helped clients that are terminal to help make their transition peaceful and comfortable also helping to comfort the family. I am a very patient and understanding person which I feel is important, I also have a great calming effect if I am ever faced with any stressful situations which helps me to be more affective in my job. I am very trustworthy and honest. I have done errands on my clients behalf in a timely and accurate way. I will accompany the client to and from Dr. Appointment as well as doing errands and other outings. I am very dependable and prompt. I believe that You have to love what you do in order to be more effective with different clients because no two clients are the same and each one will get my undivided attention for as long as I am taking care of your loved one. I don't spend time on my cell phone, my attention goes to the client at all times, which is important. I also use universal safety precautions at all times. I am always reading and learning about better ways I can be more effective with my clients. I am a caregiver/ personal care assistant because I love helping people and I love making a difference in people's lives. I am also a licensed Adult care worker who specializes in working with adults.

Hello! I'm Megan. I'm 26 and I love taking care of babies and the seasoned citizens of this great country! I originally took a Nurse Aide course so could better assist my grandmother was unable to complete certain tasks by herself. While I was doing my clinicals at school I developed an even greater love and respect for the elderly and have been working with them ever since!I love their conversations and I've been honored by the memories they've shared with me. I have built relationships with clients I no longer work with and make it my duty to keep in touch. My work goes beyond my title.
