I have been a caregiver since a very young age. My grandmother had diabetes and required insulin shots, she taught me how to draw up the insulin how to secure and clean the desired location for the shot and also how to inject the needle, that began my love for the medical field. I have been in the medical field for almost 10 years I began working with seniors and shortly after with pediatric patients in the home setting I have and still am employed with my very first client it has been 9 years of great work experience. I look forward to expanding and being able to assist others with my caregiving skills. I have been back to school to further my education with phlebotomy training, I also am going back for my LPN license very soon. I am a mother of three so I have a very motherly presents about me, understanding , patient, tolerant, aware, great with problems solving, listening and mediation. I am a people person I can fit in and stand out almost anywhere. I aim to please and get all of the task/goals placed in my care Done!!!!

I am attentive, mild mannered, nurturing, stickler for the rules, trained in skilled nursing(such as hospice and dementia), and yet I'm still eager to learn more about healthcare. What attracted me to being a caregiver is the care I provide for my grandparents. I realized that caregiving is second nature to me and I wanted to have a career that I'm passionate about and proud of. What I enjoy most about being a nurse aide is the friendships I gain with my clients. I truly enjoy their company and their companionship. The personal achievement Im most proud of is when past clients request me. Sometimes clients go to the hospital but when they get released, the families always call for me to come back. It's a great feeling knowing that my work is appreciated. In addition, it's a good feeling knowing that the client is thinking of me as well as I'm thinking of them.
