* Completed hours needed for in Hospital training toward degree *Licensed American Heart Association Healthcare Provider * * I began this career, little did I know at the time, with my dear grandmother and her friends. I continued later in helping my elderly friends husband with complications from a hip replacement surgery. My elderly friend was disabled from a stroke that effected her entire left side. I cared for both during a time their own family was unavailable & friends were disappearing as more help was obviously needed. I assisted both to safely get from one room to the next & helped bring to doctor appts., cancer treatments & shopping.. I helped prepare, cook & clean up meals. When Hospice was needed for one I took instructions on the right care for pain management for a cancer patient. I log all info surrounding clients. I basically do for them what needed to be done around house that they no longer were able to do. I involve them in all activities surrounding chores as much as possible. I ask for their own opinion on what meals they wish to have that day. I allow my clients freedom of choice while they endure their own inner struggle of not being able to do what they once used to do. I respect the elderly & their transitions. I encourage excersize & eating right. But when you need your chocolate & coffee I understand.
What makes me great about it is that I take care of people who needs the care I clean their house and I do messages to. I became a caregiver cause my family said I had a special gift and along with being a caregiver I message and clean up I bath them I make them dinner and what you want me to do I'll do it cause I helped my grandparents what I like about it is making people feel better and feel good about them self's what achievement I'm proud of is taking care of everything for people I'm here to help if you need me
Empathy and compassion, Patience, Reliable, and Trustworthy are some of t traits that make me a great caregiver. Sympathy is one element that attracted me being a caregiver. I enjoy communicating, dressing, and feeding the most of being a caregiver. I proud of me because I'm helping other people

Providing Care for my mom was everything to me I decided to go back to school and become CMA in 2014,and graduate with high honors. I knew I wanted my mom to have the best care . So learn everything and was able to give care to her till the very in. So I'm very passionate about providing home care . I would like to be to a family what I didn't have and that was daily support.I understand the role of a family members being tired and frustrated. So giving a helping hand to someone else means everything to me.
