Some traits that I have that are necessary in the health care industry are patience, great communication, attentiveness, loyal, humorous, caring & respectful. One thing that attracted to being a caregiver is the way my clients feel after I've done my shift, me being able to help someone is enough for me to have a great day! I enjoy helping them and the most I enjoy about it is that I'm able to learn about them, where they've grown up, the things they've accomplished, just hearing their lives makes me happy and I know it makes them happy as well.

I've worked as a home health nurse aide, patient safety attendant, housekeeper, hospital/nursing home assistant and I love what I do! My career aspirations are to finish my MSN. I get along well with dogs (cats are negotiable) but, prefer a non-smoking home as I am a non smoker. I've been gainfully employed (by someone who found me on a similar website) for more than a year. Available for up to 12 hrs/day Mon-Fri, every other weekend. I am fully vaccinated, I can provide proof of residency/citizenship, complete work history, current professional/personal references. I have access to a good running, fully insured vehicle or I can drive yours. I have a good driving record. I will pass an IChat, DHS & CNA background check.

I've been in the medical field for over 25 years half of that I was employed at McLaren Hospital in the Heart Unit as a cardiac Tech /CNA .The last 10 years I have worked in home / hospice care and that is when I truly found my calling ,I absolutely love it .I am loyal, honest and definitely dependable and we all know how important that is when looking for a care giver. I am dependable, optimistic and like helping people. I am a Massage Therapist and have always been drawn to helping people heal with touch therapy. The 20 years I have been a massage therapist I have been able to help people with so many ailments and keep them from having to have surgery or stay on pain medication. I was asked by a friend in the last year to help her when she found out she had Brain Cancer. I didn't expect that I would learn so much and feel like I had a purpose like I did. The journey that we took for the last 6 months was very special and I am proud that I had the chance to be there every step of the way right next to her and make a difference. I understand that the people I provide care for are on a difficult and at times, emotionally stressful journey. I pride myself in keeping to a consistent work schedule because I understand that my clients depend on me for assistance. I'm also adaptable to client emergencies or changes to schedules. Answer to the question, what am I most proud of??? I have to say its my boys.. I got to bring up two amazing fabulous sons to being productive independent men, while working as a single mom. They make me proud.

Hello, I am a compassionate & loving person. I do this work because it brings me joy to help people in need. I have been involved with in home care since I was 25 & I am now 40. Most of my experience is with Dementia/ Alzheimer's. I pride myself on my patience with the elderly. I love to sit ( if we have time ) and just listen to them, they have so much experience and knowledge. I have a very wide variety of experience.
