My name is Heather, I'm 41 and I've been a caretaker most of my adult life. It started when I helped care for my ex husbands grandmother and mother in their last years. From there, I ended up taking care of my own disabled children for the last 20 years. I have also worked as a care taker for Visiting Angels and learned a lot through them. As an environmental services worker in a rehabilitation and retirement home, they also provided extensive training for dementia and elder care. I enjoy enriching the lives of those most in need. I'm proud of consistently suprising myself with what I can learn and accomplish and the compassion and love I show to those around me.

I am a 49 year old nana to 10 beautiful grandbabies. I have worked in nursing homes, and altimzers units, to lock down units. I like to read, watch movies and sing. I also have an associates degree i. Business management. I have had a cna and a medical assisgance license for over 22 years but i let it laps. I have tried other jobs from financing to repossession. Yes it may pay well but it doesnt make my heart feel the way it does when im an helling people. One thing i am most proud of is ive managed to raise 3 beautiful sons and i have had 13 foster kids. You have to patience, understanding and both sympathy and empathy to do this job. You have to care and want to help people. In the end I love the way being a crar giver feels. I love helping families take care of their loved ones so they can keep them at their home.

To write about me that's what I'm supposed to do. Well here I am to help out with anything that needs to be done. The Crazy Cleaner with attention to details cleaning that spot that nobody else sees. All the while talking, talking and talking. I enjoy providing companionship helping out with the daily hygiene, exercising by keeping them arms and legs strong to help prevent falls also keep them ambulating. I am not the best cook but if one is willing to take a chance, it might be ok. One of my greatest accomplishments is that I made it this far and am standing here to be of service to you. The smile with the twinkle in the eyes is the beauty and reward for the work I've done. I am here to be of service for others that is what I was put here to do. There is no amount of money that can buy this feeling I go home with each day. It's priceless.

To introduce myself, I'm a mother to three amazing kids, that are now adults. I've dealt with ups and downs like everyone. I'm a very caring and honest person. I love helping those in my community that need someone there even if it's just to have someone to talk to or have a meal with. My name is Jess. I have been a CNA since October of 2019 and have been working as a CNA since December of 2019. Before becoming certified, I worked with Hospice for 6 months. I initially started working in this field when my grandmother became ill and needed 24/7 care. After helping her for those last months of her life, I realized it was something I really enjoyed doing. I am very caring and find joy in being able to help others, especially those who have reached a point in their life where they need it most. I am a very compassionate person and make it a priority to put the needs of those in my care first. I love being around others and providing support of all kinds whether it be assisting with ADL's or being there for emotional support. I am a very understanding and patient person, which I feel is very important when providing care. I take pride in who I am as a caregiver. I have a huge heart and it is my passion to be there for others and take care of those who may need it more than most.

I have been a CNA on and off since 1993. I enjoy the home health aspect of patient care. I live in Lawton, and along with home care, I also have skilled/longterm care, assisted living, memory care and palliative experience. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I also have state qualifications for activity and social service directing. I love being a CNA. It's the most rewarding job I have ever had, second only to being an at-home mom years ago.
