My name is Arlette, My journey working with seniors started when I cared for my grandmother when she needed the help about 10 years ago. After that I noticed I enjoyed caring for the elderly and spending time with them. I love listening to their stories and learning from their experiences. I see them and treat them as my family. I like to help them get the best quality of life under their circumstances. I feel a sense of accomplishment every time it's time for me to leave their house and they have a smile on their faces. That lets me know they are happy and feel safe under my care. I have worked with people suffering from different illness like: Alzheimer's and dementia, cancer, hospice, C Diff. I like to have a good and close relationship with my client's families and work together with them. I can provide letters of recommendation if they are needed.

Hi I have been working as a caregiver for many years. I started as a CNA and work for more than 10 years, I currently don't have a certification but I still have the Knowledge. I enjoy been around the elderly listen to their stories and learn from them.

I become a caregiver taking care of my father his last 3 years, to know better about his illness I read books, interview friends who work on that field ( dementia), after my fathers passed , I descide to learn more about mental illness. And find a job as a profesional caregiver. Took courses and read books about Dementia and Alzheimer's illness. Then I knew that we need to be prepared and accept changes in life. I learned that elderly needs more patience, compassion and respect . Is not easy for family members like I did experience to accept or understand this changes. I fell in love taking care of elder people. And everyday I want to be better in that field and give the best of me with love and compassion.

My grandparents played a tremendous role in my life (whom I also cared for at the end of their long lives) and I have always been very comfortable & fond of elderly, and geriatric people. I have found it to be an absolute joyful and rewarding experience to be a caregiver & nurse. We are called to take good care of the Widowed & Orphaned. My passion and love for them are evident. I like helping elderly. Its a fun job, challenging but rewarding. I have working in this field for many years and I am proud that so many lives had been changed, and lifted up through me. A life of 90 years old man who could not take care himself and the family were so busy, and he was able to survive for seven years. I have been caregiver and CNA for more than ten years. I have worked in nursing homes, hospital and private duty in California, then I moved to Colorado for better future, Unfortunately my family won't move there because of cold weather. So at this time I'm back to California to be together with my family and looking for a job here.
