After that I noticed I enjoyed caring for the elderly and spending time with them. I love listening to their stories and learning from their experiences. I see them and treat them as my family. They both was diagnosed with ADHD/attention deficit also major depression. 1 yr I had a client that had 2 strokes and non verbal he had gotten really sick had to go on hospice I took care of him until he passed away he was a joy! And find a job as a profesional caregiver. Took courses and read books about Dementia and Alzheimer's illness. Then I knew that we need to be prepared and accept changes in life. I learned that elderly needs more patience, compassion and respect . Is not easy for family members like I did experience to accept or understand this changes. I fell in love taking care of elder people. And everyday I want to be better in that field and give the best of me with love and compassion.
