After raising four children I returned to school and became certified as a Home Health Aid, Nursing Assistant as well as Phlebotomy Tech. I became a caregiver in 1997 because I want to try to help anyone in need. I like being a caregiver because I get enjoyment knowing that I am able to help someone in need. I went in to caregiving after I had worked for the federal service for 28 years. I always knew my calling was to be in this field but I became a mother young and then a single mother and did not go to school until my children were much older.
