I've been in the medical field for over 25 yrs, I have been a nurse assistant for 27 years and Medication Aide for 20 years and a medical assistant for 16 years and have always enjoyed working and helping the elderly, what I am most proud of I've been continuing my education. I also put two daughters though college.what I like most about being a care giver is to know I can make a difference in that person life,and knowing that I can give them hope and encouragement.

I have a variety of experience of over 22 years which gives me the versatility to be able to handle anything. I am very passionate about a clients rights and ensuring that they are treated with love and respect and making every day be the best that it can be.
caring for others and what attracted me to come into this field when I start taking care my grandma for years .I did all her daily care,give meds,take her to all doctor appointment, that when my grandma told me God call me to help others people's.That when I became a C.N.A and then got my L.P.N.Over 30 yrs.
I have been a caregiver for eight years. I love taking care of others especially seniors, I like talking to them because they have seen it all. I took care of my grandmother when she was alive for 3 years. I prepared her meal, did her laundry, took her to her doctor's appointment, and bathed her every other day. I'm well detail oriented person. Thanks

I have worked with many of ours seniors over the years, from Alzheimer to broken hips, strokes, Parkinson’s and with total care clients. Even with seniors that just need more help with day to day activities. I do lite housekeeping with cooking(Healthy meal planning), medications and reminders, doctor visits(giving detail reports), showers, bed baths, dressing, feeding(also tube feeding). I give comfort and reassure to my clients to insure their well-being. I am a kind, patient, honorable, dependable person, and also a very caution driver. I take very good care of my clients to the best of my availability. My goal is to give both family and client peace of mind, so that they (family and client), never have to worry about the quality care that is being given. Empathy...I am able to cultivate closer bond by sharing happiness or the sadness of the senior I care for. Patient..I am very patient and I allow the senior am taking care of to move at their own pace and not make them feel rushed.. Dependable and honest... i work with great deal of independence...I'm always on time and prepared to perform required duties in the absence of continuous supervision. Compassionate...I possess a powerful desire to help others especially seniors ...they are inviting and available even if all they do is listen and provide companionship.
The level of being patient and I do more of listening than talking so it makes me a great care giver. I took care of my grandma for 3 years so it gave me that passion to feel for others and treat them like my family. I am about to take my CNA board exam and I have made people smile each time am around them.

I've been a caregiver since 1986. I've currently relocated from anchorage alaska in July 2014.I was at my past employer for twenty-three years.I worked in a dementia/al unit.I love my job completely I enjoy the smiles an awards that are on their faces at the end of the day.I became a caregiver when my grandma died of breast cancer when I was eight.She told me I had a gift an I needed to stick with it.
I love the fact that I can help people it makes my heart be at peace and it's definitely my calling I have experience in and with stroke cancer hospices bathing grooming copd and dementia depression and Alzheimer's begin a caregiver is definitely my calling and I enjoy doing it beginning able to put a smile on someone face

I have worked in assistant living, facilities, home caregiver, hospitals, and most recent, I launched into private sector. I am passionate about my career and those I provide service for. I take care of my residents with caring and respect. Duties Assist clients with personal care, ( diapers and showers), bathing, dressing, mobility, assist in managing medications, checking blood pressure and blood sugar level, personal hygiene, planning and preparing meal, assist with feeding, transporting to appointments, Light Housekeeping (laundry, sweeping, dishes, vacuuming) Assist with grocery shopping, schedule and attend appointments (medical, hair) I have provided service such as. ALS, Alzheimer Disease, Dementia, ADHD, Pakistan Disease, Hospice Care, Risk for fall, Post-Surgical Recovery, Elder Care, Cancer patient, transfer (using a slide board and wheelchairs) Stroke patient, Senior Care, Depression, paralyzed client, G-tube feeding, bedridden, MS.
As a caregiver/CNA I do this type of work because its what I enjoy. I'm a very caring person that has a deep compassion for the work I do. I treat my clients as my own. Companion is a must. I'm a very listening and understanding person that empathizes. VERY ENCOURAGING! Catch on very quickly, discerning new clients and surroundings (it tells me a little about their personalities and characteristics, what i may be up for). I've known since age 13 what I wanted to do. I'm a certified CNA, caregiver, HAHA. I've worked with many individuals in very different levels. I have 13+ in the medical field. I love challenges. I've worked with many challenging residents and clients in homes, out of homes, nursings facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, dementia, Alzheimer's, etc. I'm willing and ready to take on whatever needs my attention. I can do ROM, participate in Dr appointments, etc. When and if hired, I will provide documentation.
