I'm a hard working mother of 1. I have been care taking since 2007 including in home and assisted living with children, young adults with disabilities and geriatrics. I have my CPR, AED and first aid certification, my level one finger print clearance card, my CNA license in 3 states and also my article 9 in arizona. I have been a CNA for a number of years it is a very rewarding career. I see myself as a giving and compassionate person, when comes to the elderly I'm very protective of their care they deserve our attention. Providing that one on one care you have that chance to make that person special.

My grandma helped raise me for the first few years of my life and I was very close to her. She got sick with cancer my senior year of high school. I was able to help take care of her so we could keep her at home where she wanted to be. From then on I knew my calling is to help people. I was able to keep my father at home and help my mom care for him when he got sick with cancer. I am good at what I do because my only goal is make people happy and comfortable and feel they are loved and important. I miss the hands on care of working with patients. The nursing facility scene has become very much about how much money can be charged to the insurance companies in the least amount of time and I honestly just want to help people so I believe private caregiving could be very fulfilling.

I enjoy working with people and want to make a difference on a daily basis.

I want to provide the same quality of care and companionship that I received for my loved one during their time of need. It is a personal satisfaction knowing that I helped make a difference in someones life. I am friendly, outgoing, willing to learn all that I can and enjoy working with others.

Taking care of older adults was an easy and natural transition for me after caring for my own mom full time. Becoming a caregiver helped me recover from loosing her. I cared for many elder members of my family also and found I have a natural gift. I enjoy their company and I love to hear their stories. I provide companionship, light housework, grocery shopping, take to appointments and provide meals. I have seen people recover from loneliness, some illnesses and become able to do more for themselves with the right encouragement and having someone who cares.
