Unfortunately, when I was younger, my family was in a car accident and one of my family members were killed. Since then I have always said I wanted to be a nurse to take care of people. I like to see people getting the help they need. Eventually I became a nurse (LVN).

I am from the Philippines but I've been here in the U.S. for almost 20 years. In the country were I grew up, we have no nursing homes nor assisted living facilities, therefore we have to take in our elderly and take care of them and that's how care giving comes so naturally to me. I feel like caregiving was something I was born to do. I enjoy getting to know new people and help them with the tasks they need help with. I find satisfaction in caregiving because it feels great knowing I'm helping someone take care of there loved one.
