I became a caregiver in 2001 and have been doing it for over 18 years.. I like getting to know people and caring for them.. I want to treat them like they were my family member.im glad to give my time and do something I love to do.. I like to go out my way to make my resident happy..I'm very caring and I love to help out other people .. It's hard to talk about ourselves but I'll give it a try, I was introduced to caregiving by a family member since that day I went and got my self in school to get my cna certification later on I also received my dsp certification. Soon after I was offered a position as a private caregiver for a quadriplegic female and I absolutely loved it. To me there is no job more rewarding and fulfilling then care giving.
