Hello my name is Denna. I am a 39 year-old mother of three beautiful girls . My passion in life is taking care of others and doing anything I can to make a difference in someone else's life . The last couple years I, cared for My father who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer , unfortunately it was very aggressive and spread rapidly. After spending more time with my father I realized that although his body may not function, his mind was an ocean of stories and wisdom, waiting to be explored. It was such a beautiful experience and will forever cherish the time I had with him and the memories we shared. Taking care of my father and going through that experience have made me realize how passionate I am about helping others in their time of need. Treating patients with dignity, starts with helping them cope with their mental as well as their physical challenges. I have come to understand the signs that someone requires a further medical intervention, mental health support or simply someone to talk to as they are a little lonely. I am passionate about giving back to the older generations and being able to be apart of that journey in their life is such an amazing feeling and experience.

My passion in life is helping other people in any way possible; becoming a caregiver has granted me with the opportunity to do this in a very meaningful way. From playing games to discussing topics of interest, I find joy in connecting with people in a variety of ways. I truly believe it is important for every person to be living a healthy lifestyle that meets their individualized needs. I am ready and willing to assist people to reach that desired lifestyle.

I Mary really enjoy my career as a homr care provider, I became even more interested after working as an medical assistant along side Dr. John R Shaw. We had several geriatrics as our patients, it was then as I observed the struggles some had even getting to our office. Dr. Shaw unfortunately passed away a few years after I working with him. So at this point is when I decided to dedicate my skills and began reaching out to Seniors. I truly enjoy getting to know clients and really enjoy the stories, memories, looking at photos with them from their past. It's very interesting & fun. I feel very good at the end of my day, knowing I made my client (s) happy and to feel that they feel safe,comfortable, secure. Is a great feeling to go home with. A professional achievement I can say will l ways stick with me, is when I assisted Marie when I began with her she was bed-ridden, wouldn't eat much if at all. I immediately began communication with her daughter and stated I felt perhaps she was taking to many medications in one sitting, and throughout the day. Well it began with her daughter bringing over all medications and we sat and went through each one. At is point I discovered that she was on some medications that where for the same diagnosis.. Some to lower and some to higher. So we begin pulling the ones I suggested to her daughter that should be taken way, weaned off of etc. Long story short we went and visited her physician and started with removing some etc. What a difference she began making progress, We got physical therapy to come into the home I continued to assist on a daily with her exercising. And she began to walk with her walker once again! Her appetite & over all health improved. She began attending her card games at the club house, played bingo etc . It was a wonderful feeling for me knowing I got her outta being bed- bound.

I love being a caregiver. nursing runs in my family and i love it. i love making people smile and meeting new people everyday. This workfield has been challenging and rewarding and i would love to further my future in this work field. i am moving to colorado in two weeks and i would love the chance to further my education and become an RN

I enjoy helping people and I know sometimes when they start needing assistance it can be hard. I like to help and also let them do things on their own so they feel some independence, I feel like that is important.

I am a caregiver that likes to be patient with my clients but also makes sure that my client likes the service they are getting. I always try my best to keep them happy. I enjoy being able to make conversations and having similar interests. Whenever I was working at different facilities, clients always comment on my bubbly personality and my attention to detail and they love having me around to brighten their day!

i have been a caregiver for about 15 years in Greeley CO. I was offered a job taking care of a woman who had a stroke and enjoyed the job. i have since had many jobs. I enjoy getting to know people and hearing their stories of growing up in another time frame. I was with one woman for 2 years before she passed away. I am a mother of 3 boys and enjoy my dogs and horses.
