What i like the most about caregiving is the ability to treat those as I would want myself to be treated in time of need. I find that with compassion, good listening skills and trying to understand and empathize with my clients not only does my client feel loved but learn that they can work towards a goal, increase their independance or have one that will help meet my clients needs . I find it extremely rewarding personally and always find new friends and family along this path.

I come from a long line of caregivers, taking care of others is what I do best. I have almost 20 years of experience as a certified Home Health Aide and almost 10 years caring privately for families and their loved ones. I have always had a passion for helping those in need. I have been a private duty caregiver for 9 years. I have worked in a trauma hospital for 6 years in Illinois, experiencing all departments. I am a compassionate and caring caregiver who is dependable and honest. I have amazing references in this area and because of word of mouth I have been able to incorporate myself into a business. Hi there! A little about me. I'm friendly, compassionate, and easy to get along with. I recently relocated from MD after 18 years as a Medical Assistant with the same practice. I am interested in working with families on a more one on one basis. Caring for and helping people is something that comes naturally to me. My care giver experience started with house cleaning when a friend asked if I knew anyone that might be interested in cleaning his parent's house. At the time I was interested in making some extra income and offered to give it a try. I realized I had a real knack for cleaning and enjoyed the feeling of a job well done. This continued for 10 years until sadly both his parents passed. My main responsibility was keeping the house organized and clean which I did with superb attention to detail. I later helped with other things such as medication reminders and blood pressure checks. My FT career as a Medical Assistant for a Urologist was an asset for me to help with other aspects of care. I have also had experience caring for my Father when he entered Hospice. This was an experience that I feel honored to have been a part of albeit one of the most difficult too. My personality I'm told is friendly and quick witted. I do have a sense of humor which is a quality that is beneficial when working in health care.

I'm dedicated to my patients, I care for them as if they were my own family. I became a caregiver in 1998 it has always been my passion to care for others. You will find a very a hardworking in me never slacking.

I'm a great caregiver because I treat my clients as if there my own family. You always learn something new from every client you encounter. That's why I prefer home health care. I always have loved helping others since I was little. When my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, I had alot to do with her care. From then on out I knew what I wanted to do. I recently graduated from FCTC, from the PCT course this past November. So I would say that's a good accomplishment. I'm now working towards being accepted into the LPN program. From there I want to persure my RN license.
