When I was young I help my mother run her daycare and one day the opportunity came for me to do more and I became a caregiver at 19. I don't think I could have found anything else that I would have enjoyed as much. There is nothing like walking into a room and seeing the patient smile because you are the and knowing that for a moment that the have joy and its because of you. Trained in Dialysis care. i became a nursing assistant because i enjoy helping people i was raised by my great aunt who died last year at 100 so she was in her 80's raising me. I first started the home health career when I started taking care of my father in 2005. After he passed away in 2011 I realized that I had a passion for helping people and that this is what I wanted to do for a career. I recently lost my patient of five years and decided to go back to school. I am currently attending school to achieve my AS in Medical Assisting. I have been on the Dean's list every semester so far and hope to graduate in October of 2020. I love making my patients smile and reassuring them that they are special in every way.
