Since I was raised from birth by my grandparents, who also took care of my handicapped mom since 10 years before my birth, I've had a lifetime of being in an environment of senior care and disabled care. Starting in high school, I had a larger role in caring for my grandad and mom with medical issues, and this role increased as my grandad had cancer and various treatments for it as well as increased hospital stays. I have a great, genuine desire to help people, and I'm skilled at it too. God has continued growing my skills of care and problem-solving as I continue caring for my 4 step-kids and husband, and my mom when needed. I also have 2 dogs and a cat, so I'm fine being around pets; I have a lot of previous experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses when working for families as a nanny.

I cared for my mother for over 10 years until she recently passed away of natural causes. I have nutritional knowledge for the elderly and know how important excerice is. But most of all I know how important it is to have some one who you can trust that will care for your fragile loved one. Giving love and companionship is a very important part of caring for those who depend on others to do the things they have lost the ability do do for themselves. I want to bring some happiness into peoples life and would like to be a friend and enjoy helping others. I do all basic hygiene needed. I'm experienced in medication management and will run errands and drive to Dr appointments. I have my own transportation, prepare meals. My back ground check and references are excellent. I've been an LPN in Ga. Since 2004, I specialize in senior care,I'm CPR/ first aid certified as well, flexible, friendly and available to work lots of hours. I have worked in the private duty/home setting for several different couples, and on and off since around 2008. I am highly skilled and have excellent references, upon request. I love working with senior clients. I do everything from meal prep, bathing , grooming to medication reminders. Also taking clients to/from Dr's appointments or physical therapy. No task is too small or too great. I'm confident and I know I'm a great nurse/ caregiver, been doing this professionally for over 20 years.
