When I worked for EHM Senior Solutions, all of my long-term clients would rather not have anyone else come in from the company when I was not available. With all of my clients that needed 24 hour care and had several caregivers, I was the only one asked to stay on assignment when they no longer needed 24 hour care. Lastly, I had a client that was put in Hospice Care and was given 3 days to live. After 1 month of starting the assignment, my client graduated from Hospice, and his family is very happy.

I am a 37year old CNA and mother of three,I became a caregiver because I love helping others and caring for those who can't perform or need assistance with their daily activities. When I was a young girl my mother was diagnosed with MS and my siblings and I were responsible for helping her with her daily activities and from that moment forward I knew that was my calling. I am very loving and caring. I treat my clients like family. I started in the medical field as a teenager I cared for my sick grandma for many years. I was caregiver for my dad for ten years he needed me to care for his daily needs. After his second brain surgery that he lost his long term memory. I couldn't mind since my dad cared for me when I was a baby to teen-years. So I couldn't turn my back on him. Plus as a nurse assistance it is my job to care for the client in their time of need. That I gave my dad the best care as a parent would give to a child. I am the mother of two grown children a son and a daughter and my son-In-law and two grandchildren Autumn and Gabriel. I am graduate from Brown Mackie College from Atlanta for medical assistance for one year program. I am have certificate nurse assistance for 20 years in nursing home, senior care home and ten years of caregiver experience. I am the type of person that I care about others well being to get better to their old self again. I have been a CNA for 20 years. I enjoy helping and working with our Seniors because they have taught me a lot over the years. I have experience working in homes, nursing homes, hospitals and I also have 5 years experience working for Hospice. I am Certified in CPR and First Aid. I am patience, dependable, neat and clean. I love to cook also. I am a non smoker, non drinker, I have a good driving record and I have a excellent background. I'm a kind person that's blessed with patience and compassion for giving care to those in need. I was introduced to caregiving when I was hired to assist my mom with an amputee patient. I really enjoy being a caregiver a job that your able to make a difference in a clients everyday living. a relationship you just cant explain with your client or patient depends on level of care. I became a can in 1991 lookin for a different career path then . worked in nursing rehabilitation home for 3 years learned so much . I did work in for agencies for in home visits as well for the next 7 years. I continued my education in Georgia to become a cma certified medical assistant. I have recently taken a can course at Cumberland health center . recertified can cpr/ first aid .
