I became a care giver because I love working with people especially the elderly. I love taking care of the elderly and I love the companionship. They have so many stories to tell and they still have so much to offer. They have sent their lives taking care of people and it's time for someone to care for them. My greatest personal achievement is obtaining my CNA license. It is the first thing I have started and finished since high school. Also, being a mother is another thing that is important to me. I started off as a hospice aide at the age of 17. This was while I was still in high school because I always knew that caring for others was my calling. I can remember being a little girl and wanting to help out with my grandpa who had suffered from a stroke leaving him disabled and needing help most of the time. I always wanted to help feed him and give him juice. When I went off to college I started doing home health and helping families that needed it. Every one I came in contact with me had such a great bond that we would share that we would become inseparable. I have been told that I have a spirit that most people need to look after others. It is something I enjoy doing. I love to help others because you never know where you could end up. Right now I currently work at a hospital with rehab dealing with stroke patients. I love it. I just want to be able to give people who are sick or just need the company the proper companionship and the love that they need.

I have four children and nine grandchildren. I adore my family and spending time with them. I also enjoy the outdoors and playing with my two dachshunds. I have worked in the medical field for a long time and I really enjoy helping others. I am a people person and love life.
