Since I was raised from birth by my grandparents, who also took care of my handicapped mom since 10 years before my birth, I've had a lifetime of being in an environment of senior care and disabled care. Starting in high school, I had a larger role in caring for my grandad and mom with medical issues, and this role increased as my grandad had cancer and various treatments for it as well as increased hospital stays. I have a great, genuine desire to help people, and I'm skilled at it too. God has continued growing my skills of care and problem-solving as I continue caring for my 4 step-kids and husband, and my mom when needed. I also have 2 dogs and a cat, so I'm fine being around pets; I have a lot of previous experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses when working for families as a nanny.

I have 6+ years experience in the medical field. I do not have a CNA license but I am a medical assistant and also CPR/ first aide certified. I have worked with all ages and have had several private sitting jobs with elderly patients.

I love working with senior clients. I do everything from meal prep, bathing , grooming to medication reminders. Also taking clients to/from Dr's appointments or physical therapy. I am fully comfortable and able to provide and assist with all activities of daily living such as assistance with bathing, hair care, teeth brushing, assistance with using the restroom including catheters, assistance with clothing, assistance with eating and meal preparation, house cleaning, grocery shopping, weekly medication set up, insulin injections, etc. There is no task that is too difficult or that I have not done before! I have been a caregiver my entire life. I took care of my sister who is mentally and physically handicapped from the age of 5 years old, until i went to college. She has spina bifida, hydrocepholas, a shunt, and other health issues/ conditions. I can help transfer to and from a wheel chair, Cath, change diapers, dress, bath, anything! I have also been a caregiver to my dying grandparents and an 87 year old woman with parkinsons and dementia. She suffered from incontinence, mood swings, aggression, and anger issues. There's not much i can't handle. I've also worked with special needs people a lot, examples down syndrome, autism, MS, and other physical and mentally handicaps.

i had to watch my grandmother when i was young needing a caregiver. i know she could of gotten so much better help than what she got, so i became a cna while in highschool. i'm wanting to get more experience. i'm hoping to study to become a physical therapist soon. i've been in nursing homes & health centers !

I am a very out going person i enjoying putting good out in the world, i never judge anyone i love everyone reguardless the situation. there are not many good people left and i figure if we put out good maybe it will spread. I love knowing that i have done everything in my power to make sure someone was cared for and treated and loved in my time of need. what i enjoy the most of being a care giver is learning about the patient and giving them the love and care that they deserve i love to walk in a room and bring a smile to someones face i love to be the one that somebody can depend on i enjoy every moment i have every shared with all my patients it brought me joy to see someone in such a difficult time be cared for and treated with all the love i have in me! my personal achivements in life are my children and having the gift to care for others with endless liminits. i will go above and beyond to care for someone and never expet anyhting in return i take it as a learning experiment i just hope that others will see what i do and it makes a movement
