I've very compassionate about being a caregiver. Helping someone in need is a big part of my life. I had a client that reached their goal of exercising, walking through the living everyday. It was a major goal for the both of us.

I love being able to give back and help someone that is not able to care for themselves or there family.One thing I am currently in the process of achieving is getting my Associates degree. I love people and I am very outgoing and dependable.

I have been in the health career for fifteen years and I'm currently in the nursing program at Richland Community College to become an RN. I have also been a business office manager in Psychiatry and was a Resident Assistant at an assistant living. Ever since I was young, I've always enjoy taking care of my grandparents weather I was painting toenails, shaving legs or giving a haircut or helping to house chores that were difficult for them. It always put a smile on my face. Not only do I enjoy helping others, but seeing the satisfaction of relief on their face on things that maybe difficult for them to complete or families with smiles that have stress relieved off of them is satisfying to me. I love what I do and I wouldn't do it any other way. With my experience, I have learned to be patient with others, listening to everyone, and think of all options or approaches before acting.

Seeing the needs of people and companionship they lack made me want to help. I have experience with all types of assistance care including Ostomy, oxygen, meds,diabetes, tens units, cath care, feeding. I have worked in a memory unit in Long Term Care, I am very familiar and comfortable with the behaviors and the needs of dementia/Alzheimer's. I also assist dementia patients currently.
