Hello my name is Michelle Dayton. I have worked in home healthcare for close to 25 years. I have been State certified as a CNA in both Michigan and Indiana. I am not currently certified but I am a registered HHA. I get tremendous enjoyment of taking care of others. My healthcare career started as a volunteer for hospice after I lost my grandparents. I've seen what amazing work they did and how at peace my grandparents were when they passed and I chose to pay it forward. I am a little more picky on the people I take care of then other Aides for two reasons: 1. If the client and I seem to clash it's no good for anyone. So I will not waste your time or my own. I will just respectfully decline the offer. 2. The clients I take on will not be just a clients. I love my people like they're my own family and I will do my absolute best to meet every need they have. If I cannot accomplish that I will find someone who can and put you in touch with them, because there's no sense in your family members being unhappy and uncomfortable in their own home. I feel that I am very caring and compassionate with each and every client that I've had. I believe everyone deserves respect, kindness and a voice( your opinion matters to me!) I will never force your family members to do something they don't want to do. I feel they have live through several wars, a great depression and a whole lot of hardship in the past and now is their time to be pampered. If your family member needs anything or you have questions about anything if I can't answer them I will find the answers and if I have the answers I will let you know.

Hello! My name is Dani and I am a PhD student at Miami University. I have both a bachelors and masters degree in psychology and currently study behavioral neuroscience. During my undergraduate career I worked in senior care (5 years), and while my current position is rewarding- I truly miss being a caregiver. Being a caregiver allows you to know individuals on a deep and intimate level while helping them and their families transition during a very challenging time. I have a wide range of experience and enjoy learning new things- further, I would consider myself to be very patient, kind and reliable (essential traits for this kind of work!). I became a caregiver almost 6 yrs ago after becoming a Medical Assistant. I have taken care of many different families and helped them with their parents needs. I have become like family with the people I have cared for. I have a genuine compassion for helping others and do this work with love in my heart. I treat others as I would want my own parents treated or myself.

Since 2013 I have been taking care of the elderly the sick The Young and the babies I have been making myself known for my career I can take my job very seriously I take care of my patients even better help sometimes I take for my pet care of my patients do that take care of myself that's pretty funny anyways meaning of taking care of somebody else's love one and taking care of somebody else's life means everything to me and I would do anything to make anybody smile so it's the fact that I have to take care of your person that makes my whole day.

I became a caregiver when my grandfather passed away in 2018. When my grandfather got sick he asked me to assist him in getting a drink of water and I couldn't help him because I didn't know what I was doing. After his passing I just knew that being a caregiver is what I wanted too do. Maybe just maybe if I knew what I was doing when my grandfather was still alive I could of bought us some more time. I love what I do. Just being able too help someone to be and do the best they can is a great feeling. Being able too just put a smile on someone's face or be the listening ear they've needed for so long. I bring a positive attitude, hard work and determination to get my job done! I'm a caring, loving and energetic mother of four!

I am a very loving and compassionate person in general, and especially with the elderly and disabled. I've been working as a CNA/HHA for roughly 6/7 years. My mom was a CNA for roughly 25 years, working as a caregiver is all I've ever really known. I love this field of work and I couldn't see myself ever doing any other type of job other than healthcare!

I believe I'm a great caregiver because I'm a social person . I'm very personal & confident in myself when it comes to caring for others . I truly enjoy the one on one connection . I beleieve every indivual should get one on one care . I'm a fun,loving ,& intelligent indivual !

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping others. I prefer home health care because it brings me contentment to know I am helping assist someone to be able to stay in their home and I try to see them become as independent as possible. Healing in my opinion will occur sooner if an individual is remaining if at all possible in the home.
