I became a caregiver due to the fact my Grandfather had Dementia and had to be placed in a Nursing home facility where he recieved terrible care. So I know the importance in having a love one home in a safe environment, where he or she could have the relationship with his or her family sourrounding them with love. When I was a little girl my mom was was very sick and when she came home from the hospital she had a feeding tubes and a trachea, she couldn't walk....She needed someone to tack care of her at all times. I was eager to learn and I did it with pleasure because she was my mom. What I like about being a caregiver I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. My best achievement is becoming a mother of three humasom boys.
