I never know what to write when it comes to this part. Most people say I'm happy go lucky, I have a quirky sense of humour. I guess I would have to my step mom introduced me to the field, She was a nurse in a long term care facility, they were short handed and needed help. Needless to say I was very young and didn't last long. As I got older and became a single parent I needed work and it just seemed like the natural thing to do, to become a caregiver to others outside of my children. I believe my greatest joy in doing this job is helping others and making a difference in their lives, even if it's just making a snack or a meal, or shaving a face or combing hair. Sometimes is the smallest thing that make the biggest difference for someone. I would have to saY my personal achievement I'm most proud of is raising my children alone to adulthood, to be respectful, productive adults. Now helping to raise my youngest grandson.

Hello! My name is Jordan. I am a nursing student seeking to help others! I grew up babysitting/nannying for families. I then realized what I knew I wanted to do...help people! I then enrolled in a nursing program right out of high-school! I did 5 classes and am certified in all. I'm CPR/BLS certificated. I'm my senior year of highschool I did an intern ship as a preschool teacher and gained a certification in early childhood development as well.

What attracted the most to look into this field and to sign me up for CNA school was for my grandparents that I was very close to and who raised me so I did it for them! Because unfortunately, my grandmother was in a nursing home and she was very neglected to the point. Some thing happened to her and she passed away so she gave me my motivation to be where I'm at today. I'm a very compassionate person very honest the most outright patience I have for people is incredible always in a positive mood And I've always wanted to take care of others who don't have others to take care of them. That's why I became a CNA and a caregiver because I give my 100%. I'm a very thorough worker. I'm very organized I have a routine and I get along with everybody, but if I have a tough client who is behavioral that intrigues me more to stay in the field that I am in only because I know how to approach those clients in the correct manner. My personal traits are attachment to the people I care for because not only do I care for them but at the end of the day, somehow they turn family to me in my eyes. I'm a very experienced worker. I've been doing this for six years. I have dealt with all different kinds of patients, so no need to worry. And I'm also very knowledgeable to medical terminologies. I'm a safe, reliable, trustworthy person and I'm very compassionate at what I do and because I love what I do.

I have been a cna for almost 8 years and I absolutely LOVE what I do. I became a cna after taking care of my grandfather when my grandmother couldn't care for him no longer. He made me realize what Im meant to do. My goal is to be a Nurse one day. I have worked in all aspects of healthcare. From my 1st job being in an all male medium security prison as a cna to working hospice,private duty, nursing homes, and home care. Im very good at what I do and have never had a complaint. I have been a caregiver since I was 12. I helped my grandmother woth my great grandmother who had dementia and my great grandfather who had parkinsons. I have been working with people with disabilities MR and the elderly for over 25 years ..started as a teen teaching my cousin to play ball and loved teaching him how to spell..since then I have taught many to be independent and care for those that can,t .
