Hello, I'm Jennafer. I previously worked for a VA Medical Center as a nurses aid. I loved my job, unfortunately I moved and it was too far in distance. I am CPR certified, and have experience with most common elderly illnesses and diseases. I worked with a lot of patients suffering from either dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, urinary, respiratory, cardiopulmonary, restorative, and more. I absolutely enjoy making people happy and being part of people's lives, which is one reason I believe makes me great at care giving. I love to talk and companionship is a big plus for me in the healthcare field. I am very compassionate about the care I provide and I enjoy the friendships I get to make. I am always looking for ways and opportunities to better my skills and care. Just for a little extra info, I do speak some spanish, however not too fluent; I also play several musical instruments in which I got to share music with some of the residents I cared for. I am an excellent worker, friend, and companion and I hope to get the opportunity to show and express it to you and your loved one(s)!

I became a care giver at a very young age i used to go to work with my mother and help out with what ever i could, i became a cna at the age of 12, and have been around the elderly my whole life,I like being a care giver because i enjoy helping people, and listening to there storys from when they were young, My achievement is helping people that need it the most and some of the eldrely have no family so i try to become there family and put a smile on there face thats my achievement making someone happy. i am a recent widow and i have 2 grow children and 3 grandchildren,i live alone and enjoy life.

I love working and taking care of people that need me. I I have worked with handicapped and mentally and physically disabled persons as well. I have dealt with a lot of altzheimers and dementia clients and also worked with hospice.

I'm such a caring women, it just comes naturally, ever since I was little I've always cared about others always tried to help other kids or adults. I was personal caregiver in Easthampton and I am graduated medical assistant, I've worked with newborns to seniors for 8 yes, I'm a mother of 3 and I've taken care of my grandmother not to mention I did volunteer work at the palmer Alzheimer's home!! It in my blood I absolutely love caring for others. I'm professional and I put others needs before mine! My grandfather passing away 2 yrs ago was very hard for me and the way some of the caregivers treated him made me so upset I don't think some people should be caring for others..I believe its not just a job paying you ..you have to enjoy your job! Now my grandmother is I'll and in a nursing home some of the things I see and hear I just don't like..so I feel even if its just me one person..at least I know and believe I would make a difference!

I am a compassionate and caring individual. I have cared for elderly people in the past including my grandmother who had heart failure and my Father who battled cancer and passed in 2010. I understand the importance of companionship for everyone but especially for those who are ill or in recovery. I enjoy helping those in need and make it a point to help put a smile on their face as often as possible. As far as my background, For ten years I worked in a group home with individuals with various disabilities. My day consisted of taking them on day trips, dispensing medication, housekeeping, and meal preparation. I also have a bachelors degree in psychology with a minor in human services. I would describe myself as energetic, down to earth, reliable and ethical. I treat all individuals with the dignity and respect they deserve.
