Hello, My name is Jaime, I live in Rindge, NH. I am a dedicated wife of 21 years and mom of 3 amazing boys ages 12, 17, 19 my most favorite things to do is spend time with family, camping, fishing, yard work, cleaning and helping others. I have been in the medical field for 27+ years. I worked as a PCA at Lowell general hospital in the ICU for 7 years where I gained a ton of knowledge and I enjoyed it very much, following that I accepted a postion as a practice manager of a primary care physican office which I was employed there for 18.5 years, my family and I relocated and purchased a home in Rindge NH and we love it here. I've been doing home care since 2021 and I absolutely adore helping others, I have a soft spot for elders, and all humans in need of help, being a PCA/HHA gives me great purpose in life and I truly enjoy meeting new clients and being able to provide them with the highest quality care they deserve. Am a 27 year old female care giver. I became a caregiver because I believe in helping and making someone's day better. My achievement in this job has been being able to help clients and achieve their health goals like recovery. I have been a caregiver close to seven years and making an impact in one's life is my ultimate goal.

I chose to be a caregiver from my childhood taking care of my loved ones in my family whoever got sick and was hospitalized, I was number one to go and take care of them, when I grew up, started to take care of my Mom who had diabetes and High blood pressure, came to America and started working in a small assisted living for people with Alzheimer and my passion for care increased .I was so happy to make a difference in these people and make them smile.

Not only do I have an excellent record for an outstanding caregiver, I am also a very calm person with a grateful heart and a smile as big as the sun which for about 20 years have brought joy and made an impact on many families I have worked with and clients I have cared for. Growing up in a Christian home back in Ghana, I was raised to treat others as I will expect to be treated. What attracted me most to become a caregiver was the man I grew up to love and called my dad. My stepfather was a gentle, respectful and a peaceful man who loved me and treated me as his own.. In his late 70's while I was already in the United states, he was diagnosed with Alzheimers and became the opposite of what we knew him to be. With zero ideas on how to care for him, I intensified my search on caring for patients with Alzheimers and dementia , I took a class through the state of Massachusetts at the Notre dame learning center in Worcester. In doing this, I was able to educate my family back home on how to better his care. What I am most proud of being a caregiver is hearing stories about what a client had been through in life with either their success, achievement, accomplishments, battles with diseases etc. and the patients will to live. Knowing that both the client and their family are trusting me completely with the care of their loved one towards the end of life and that beautiful THANK YOU CARD with words of appreciation and gratitude I receive from the family when my work is done brings me lots of joy knowing I did it RIGHT. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is becoming good friends with my client by adopting their likes and seeing contentment in their eyes knowing that they are comfortable and safe with me around or When we make dinner together with minimal help from them yet it gives them a sense of living or when we race each other to answer question on jeopardy. or on a not so happy day when I still find a way to put a smile on their face .

Becoming a caregiver grew from my personal experience of caring for my grandfather. My grandfather built his home with his own hands and all he wanted was to live out his life in it. Watching him become less capable to care for himself and his house quickly became the driving force behind my overpowering desire to help seniors stay in their homes. Think of me like a multi tasking personal life assistant! What is that you ask? Well...... not only can I provide assistance with daily living tasks, but I can also assist with all aspects of household management. I can accompany you to appointments, be an advocate by your side, a voice for you, or just help you by listening and taking notes. I can help you run errands, food shop & track and manage household management tasks like maintenance & repairs. One day I may be fixing the dishwasher, the next day I'm correlating all your upcoming medical appointments and family visits. I believe that our age should not dominate our lives, how old we are does not determine who we are. I will do anything I can to help someone continue living in their home, because I believe if that's what they wish, then they deserve a chance. Aging in place is a realistic and viable option that we should always consider.

am a well experienced home health aid. Passionate, reliable and dependable . 8 years of experience in this field caring for patients with MS, Dementia, Alzheimer, stroke, cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis, respiratory disease, diabetes, fall risk, depression. And hospice care. My responsibilities were, transportation of patients to doctors appointment, bathing and dressing them up, companionship, making beds, doing laundry remind or give medicine to patients, check vital signs or apply lotion to dry skin areas, change bandage, light house cleaning, am able to lift my clients, transfer them in and out of wheelchair to their beds. I can also manage using a Hoyer lift. I have excellent communication skills guided by good relationship with clients, strong work ethics since am dedicated to getting the job done, positive attitude, time management abilities, self confidence, ability to accept and learn from criticism, flexible and l love my job and very hardworking.
