I'm a registered nurse with 10 years experience. My background is critical care, post-operative care and prior charge nurse experience in orthopedics/telemetry. I'm a mom of 3 young children. I'm hardworking, organized, attentive to detail and compassionate about providing high quality care with each client I encounter. After years of being at the bedside and witnessing far too many elderly and disabled clients admitted with preventable health ailments- I've decided to transition my career to provide quality care and help my community prevent these cases from happening. I pride myself in honest, genuine care- with the promise to care for your loved one as if they were my own.

To provide care for and or assist those that are less fortunate to be able to care for themselves. I ALWAYS put the needs of the patient first. I like being a caregiver because it gives me great gratification knowing that I made a difference in someone's life. I am the mother of three well rounded,articulate,successful children. Able to provide hands-on care to patients by administering medications, managing intravenous lines, observing and monitoring patients' conditions, maintaining records and communicating with family as well as members of the healthcare team. Feed, bathe and dress patients. Take patient vital signs. Serve meals, make beds and keep rooms clean. Set up medical equipment and assist with some medical procedures. Answer calls for help and observe changes in a patient's condition or behavior.

I am a very compassionate trustworthy and responsible person with a strong desire to work with the elderly in their home setting. I am dedicated to helping people to live a full dignified life! I have experience with family members that needed the up most care at times in there life when we couldn't find anyone to trust. I now want to give that to another family, I want to help and more important love someone out there who needs it while family isn't available. I am a mother and have many years experience caring for those in my home and know what it takes to keep the home moving and remain a happy safe clean environment.

Growing up, every great grandparent, and grandparent on both sides of my family, suffered from the Alzheimer's gene. I watched and assisted with their care and witnessed their deterioration my entire childhood and adult life. Naturally, I sought genetic testing and learned I am a carrier of the gene. I am pursuing a career in medicine with a double major in Biology (for Pre-Med) and Neurosciences (studying regressive neurological diseases and mental disorders). I am also a mom of 2. I enjoy providing companionship care and have extensive experience (both personal and professional) and knowledge of senior care and dementia/Alzheimer's. I provide the same care to families that I would give to my own. I'm a driven, passionate person who enjoys reading, outdoor activities of any kind, and am an avid believer that anything is possible if we set out to achieve it. I hope that I can give your family peace of mind and comfort your loved ones in their time of need.

I have the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion , constantly showing the person that I am caring for know that i care about the person and want to do what I can to help them.

I love to take care of patients or clients. Every since my grandmother was diagnosed with lung cancer when i was 16 i stayed behind to care for her. She was a Registered Nurse she was my idol. I followed her path after high school.

I have experience in every area; elderly, infant care, dementia, alzhemiers or just being a companion to the patient. I have worked in nursing homes, hospitals and in home care. I enjoy helping people and nursing is my calling; I have never had a patient that was glad to see me go, but always glad to see me come. I go above and beyond the call of duty. My main concern is that the patient is safe and happy and comfortable. I have taken my clients to the movies, out to dinner, or breakfast or brunch, grocery shopping, out of town to Chicago, Arizona, Pittsburgh, The Hamptons, New York Manhattan. I have taken my client to bingo, museums, to the hairdresser or whatever there heart desired. There's nothing I wouldn't do to keep them happy as long as it is safe and appropriate . I am your nurse that is very energetic and always thinking of how I can make a situation better. I am punctual and enjoy nursing. My last client I was with her for 5 years in Washington DC across from the Watergate/Kennedy Center. I dont have a problem with commuting to any job. I have traveled an hour or more away from home and im always on time. I have very very good references to share with you.
